Can Australian men repent?
It is my belief that most of the lost tribes of the house of Israel have already left Europe for the USA with some in Canada and some here in Australia and New Zealand.
This article compares Australia with the USA and highlights and contrasts the different beginnings of these nations and the sort of folks that settled in Australia and why it is the way it is.
There is a great deal of brokenness and rebellion in the attitudes of Australian men towards God. Australia is far less godly than the USA. More to follow…
Australia & New Zealand at the ‘Ends of the Earth’
We know that the Lord purposed to scatter the 10 Northern tribes of the House of Israel and that they would be found at the ends of the earth because He promises to gather them from there.
Well Australia and New Zealand are about as far from the centre of the earth and Jerusalem as you can get without going to Antarctica.
(South Africa is significantly closer as the African continent physically connects to the middle east. However the Southern tip of South America is even further away than Australia or New Zealand. )
Again what I want to do is concentrate on Australia (and New Zealand to a lesser degree) and contrast and compare the short history of these places with the history of the USA – but very briefly.
Lets see some scriptures which suggest that the scattering of Israel will go to the ‘ends of the earth‘. As you can see there are a lot of verses that use the expression ‘ends of the earth‘. But when we look at Australia and New Zealand’s spiritual climate today we see a terrible departure from God. Let’s look at the scriptures first…
His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.
Deuteronomy 33:17
Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.
Psalms 59:13
By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:
Psalms 65:5
Thou hast increased the nation, O LORD, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.
Isaiah 26:15
8 But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend. 9 Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.

From these verses we see that indeed there is a connection with Israel/Jacob/Ephraim etc being scattered far away to the ends of the earth. It has only been over the last few hundred years that Australia and New Zealand have been settled by the British Empire and set up as Christian nations.
One of the big differences between Australia and New Zealand compared to the USA is how godless we have become, and how asleep we are spiritually. Yes the same thing is happening in the USA but we don’t appear to have the same Hebrew Roots awakening going on to the same degree. We don’t have the same quality or depth of insight into the word as I see in America. We don’t have enough folks with a deep desire to study, we don’t seem to have the right stuff as far as the Hebrew roots revival is concerned. We have all the same faults in the churches in America but few of the bright lights that are awakening through the Hebrew roots movement there. How many Australian or New Zealand Hebrew roots teachers do you know? They don’t exist.
As far as the mainline protestant evangelical / Pentecostal churches are concerned we have the same afflictions as in the USA. The larger Australian and New Zealand churches are just as shallow, luke warm and corrupt as their large counterparts in the USA.
As stated earlier, there are tiny pockets of folks with Hebrew roots leanings in Australia and New Zealand but they are few and far between, They are generally less developed and often quite basic in their understanding and practice and of course suffer because they are so few and isolated. Some may say that it’s just that we have a smaller population. Both nations together have less than a 10th of the USA’s population of nearly 320 million. Australia has about 25 Million and New Zealand has about 4.5 Million. But it would seem to be more an issue with the kind of people that came to both nations and their lack of zeal and lack of depth in the scriptures all along our short history.
Australia was set up as a Penal Colony. It was not settled by Protestant Christians looking for religious freedom. As such, it does not have any way near the history of religious devotion that the Christians have shown in the USA. This is perhaps the major difference. You could say that America was settled by the cream of the crop of the House of Israel while Australia and New Zealand were settled much later by the dregs. And you would be right for the most part. (And I am sorry if I upset folks).
However you know the story of the Prodigal son. There may be some of Ephraim here and the other tribes that will have a change of heart and return to the father after waking up to themselves.
Unfortunately for now both nations are quite wealthy and indifferent to the gospel at present and the church is very very lukewarm and ignorant.
Rahab, Wickedness & Shechinah at the ends of the earth
It’s interesting the the Lord mentions that the He wall call his daughters from the ends of the earth in Isaiah 43:6.
I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;

He does mention bringing his sons from afar which seems to be related to the south so there may be hope for the men. But it could be that far more women repent here in Australia than men! And it could involve a great deal of affliction to get them to listen.
There seems to be a connection to wickedness at the ends of the earth…
That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
Job 38:13
The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.
1 Samuel 2:10
It is quite interesting that there is a relationship between the judgement of the wicked from the ends of the earth. This meshes well with Australia’s ungodly beginnings as a dumpling ground for britains convicts. However later settlement was not composed of convicts, nevertheless it seems to be a place where being a rebel is part of the culture. This is the nation that produced Ned Kelly, ACDC and Mad Max after all. So being a bad boy is good here in Australia.
If we look at the earth as a flat projection, with the North Pole at the centre as in the map above then the outer edge of Antartica corresponds to the outer wall. If we think about the outer wall of the temple then Australia and New Zealand could be related to this outer wall.
The outer wall of the temple was a place where the women could assemble and watch the proceedings within the temple complex from above. We know that the feminine is related to the body of Adam and to his skin, she is his glory. The Shichina Glory, the glory of the place where God dwells is related to the feminine. The word is derived from the word for dwelling place, Mishkanot, מִ֝שְׁכָּנֹ֗ות, that appears in Numbers 24:5, Psalm 132:5 for example. The word Shechina, שכינה, in Hebrew is a feminine noun. However the woman was the first to be deceived. And so in a sense the glory has been usurped by the serpent through rebellion to the word of God.
I find it fascinating that the Lord speaks specifically in Isaiah 43:6 about bringing back his daughters from the ends of the earth. Perhaps when the Lord shakes the wicked from the ends of the earth, not too many bad boys make it back in comparison to the women. Still I hope some do. There is certainly a link between the divine feminine, and wickedness at the ends of the earth. It’s interesting that Rahab the prostitute lived in the wall of Jericho. Rahab is also another name for the dragon in the sea, Leviathan. But this human Rahab had a change of heart, she believed! She was wicked but she repented and was saved from the destruction. It maybe prophetic for Australia and New Zealand.
It is also interesting that New Zealand was one of the first nations to give women the vote. I will upset many folks by saying that this is ungodly. There are plenty of texts that plainly show that men are to lead. When a woman votes she is usurping authority over a man. Its just straight out rebellion to God’s word. Our generation is not enlightened. It is in darkness.

It is forbidden for women to teach or have authority over a man. Australian and New Zealand women are naturally much more assertive and wicked in comparison with women from the USA from my experience. We suffer from the Jezebel-Ahab spirit big time. So wickedness is very much entrenched at the ends of the earth. It is no coincidence that the 1970’s feminist singer Helen Reddy who sang ‘I am woman’ hailed from Melbourne, Australia before she set up shop in LA. Of course Zena the Warrior princess is a New Zealand export. Her real name is Lucy Lawless (Lucifer Lawless?).
The Lord hates the pride of rebellious women. Just read Isaiah 3 to see how the Lord mocks the pride of the rebellious daughters of Zion. It’s not good. Rebellious women require spiritually weak mean to rule over. It’s a team effort. Female pastors? Not biblical, except in Sodom.
Sadly I see many women ruling the roost here in Australia amongst the messianic Hebrew roots congregations. It’s more of an indictment on the men. They just aren’t up to the task. Their heart is not in it and they just don’t have the right stuff.
But the fact that women rule over God’s people is still the fault of the men that let it happen. If you read the Genesis account of the fall you find that Adam is held more accountable to God than Eve because the Lord commanded Adam directly. And so it is today. Men are silent before their wives when they should speak out – and pay the price. Men know what is right but wont do it. They put their wives before God. Men are willful but women are deceived like Eve was and there are no men to stand in the gap. Eve was more deceived and fell first while Adam was silent and let it happen so in that sense men are more willful and rebellious. Welcome to Australia. Enjoy the beaches.

Great South Land of the Holy Spirit
There will have to be a mighty move of the Spirit of God in this land if there is to be any flesh saved. Such a move was prophesied by two individuals.

Of course this is not prophecy from the bible. So the jury is out until it either comes to pass or it doesn’t. It will take more than church bells to wake people up down here.
Pedro Fernandes de Queiros (I will just call him Pedro from now on) was a Portuguese explorer who is popularly believed to have christened Australia in May 1506 as “the land of the Holy Spirit“, “Australia del Espiritu Santo“. Well time will tell if he was prophetic. Some believe that it was in or near New Hebrides / Vanuatu where he made this pronouncement. Others say it is in Port Curtis, Gladstone in the state of Queensland, Australia. In any case it gives Christians here something to cling to as they watch their nation’s church attendance plummet while the sports stadiums are filled to overflowing. It will need a move of God’s Spirit just to get Australians to think about God. The name ‘Australia’ comes from the Latin ‘Australis’ meaning ‘South’ and appears in the Catholic bible in Isaiah 49:12 in the Latin Vulgate. The original word in Hebrew is Sinim, סִינִים, translated ‘australi’.
הִנֵּה־אֵלֶּה מֵרָחֹוק יָבֹאוּ וְהִנֵּה־אֵלֶּה מִצָּפֹון וּמִיָּם וְאֵלֶּהמֵאֶרֶץ
סִינִים׃Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.

Some believe that the land of Sinim mentioned here in Isaiah actually refers to China. China is called ‘Sin’ by the Chinese even today. In any case the land of Sinim has been translated as ‘terra australi‘ in the Catholic Latin Vulgate. And this was no doubt what was on Pedro’s mind when he made his proclamation of the ‘great land of the Holy Spirit‘. Maybe it was an inspired moment, but we are still waiting.

Smith Wigglesworth was an English faith healer who prophesied that there would be a mighty end times revival starting from Melbourne, Australia. Still waiting for that one. It could happen, but only in the context of awakening the lost tribes of Israel scattered here. And probably closely followed by the Lord shaking the wicked from the ends of the earth.
The Holy Spirit comforts and fills the believers hearts. The Holy Spirit is the seal of our redemption. In the physical world the Holy Spirit’s ultimate residence will be centred in Jerusalem, in Zion where the temple shall be rebuilt. A move of the holy spirit in Australia could only be in the context of the return of the Holy Spirit to Jerusalem with the awakening of the 10 lost tribes of the House of Israel. But this awakening has already begun. So Australia would seem to be running out of time for any great revival. Still we wait. We wait at the ends of the earth.
Australia is a hot and dry country in many places and tropical and lush along the Queensland coast. The Holy Spirit is often related to the metaphor of water. Of course the Holy Spirit also is related to fire. How interesting fire and water are related. Fire actually creates water (vapour). The following is a secular Australian song by the band ‘Icehouse’ from the 1980’s called ‘Great Southern Land‘. Let’s pray that the Lord יהוה pours out His Spirit on this thirsty land because it is spiritually an Ice House that is burnt black with the stony hearts of lost souls…

ANZAC Soldiers
The Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC’s) performed admirably with the British in 1917 during the battle for Beersheba. The Australians charged the fortified city so quickly on horseback that the Turks couldn’t lower their guns on time. Thus the Ottoman empire was soon out of the land of Israel and Jewish settlement could rapidly increase. Jerusalem was captured by Allenby and the Zionist project began to unfold in earnest.
During WW2 the German Afrika Corps General Rommel was impressed by the skills and daring of the Australians in the desert. Such is the stuff of legends.
Back here in the ‘Great South land of the Holy Spirit’ we find that Australian males can indeed be generals on the football field. But when they get home to their wives, “She’s the boss”. Men have lost their Spiritual leadership in the home. Jezebel and Ahab. Manhood is sleeping and women rule.

On a personal note I hope to begin work on a tiny home on wheels at the end of 2016 and into 2017. I would also like to return to the USA in 2017 also -if the world doesn’t go bang!
