Introduction
The Lord God of Israel is on the move and so is the enemy of our souls. Since the 2020 Wuhan scam we have crossed into another world, a darker world. We have all been put on notice, if we have ears to hear, that we are definitely in the end times leading to the coming of the Lord as our governments seem hell bent on turning our nations into dictatorships. And most people follow along in lockstep, hell bent on trusting in man rather than God. How far along we are in the prophetic scheme of things is open to debate. At some point it will become clear.
My hope in writing this article is not to induce fear but rather to alert people to the lateness of the hour. I guess I have been doing a lot of that lately haven’t I? I maybe wrong about specifics of timing but I may not be too far off, time will tell.
I think we are living in times where things could unravel very quickly. Indeed they are beginning to unravel more quickly aren’t they? This unravelling includes the stuff we read in Matthew 24 which are the 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse. I believe we are in that time already and we have softly slipped into the Tribulation period without most knowing it. If so then at some point the storm will become apparent. If I am wrong then that too will become obvious in time.
But with regards to time I think we need to battle hard to maximise our time in prayer and fellowship with Yeshua and the Father. Also we should look to extricate ourselves from the system of ‘Babylon’ as much as possible. We will need to trust the Lord more for our healing than rely on hospitals, We will need to remove our children from the public school system. Get out of debt as much as possible (if this is still possible). Get out of the cities if you can, at least pray in that direction. Try to insulate your family as much as possible from a system that is falling apart anyway. In our weakness we need to rely much more on the Lord for miracles than rely on the arm of flesh or ‘the system‘. Come out of Babylon my people, Revelation 18:4. Receive not her (man made) plagues! The 2nd Exodus is not far away, something hardly anyone seems to want to know about but is very imminent, even as invasion is imminent. Do what you can. God will do what you can’t! Pray, pray, pray!
The 50 days of Counting the Omer from Firstfruits to Pentecost helps us to focus on how precious our time is. Let’s use it wisely. These 50 days should remind us about another 50, the Jubilee. It will be a Jubilee of judgement for good or evil depending on our deeds. These 50 days are about counting, “Teach us to number our days”. It is my belief that the Firstfruits rapture could happen at any moment. The Omer עמר, is a sheaf of Barley grain, that is waved at Fristfruits. At Pentecost we come to the Wheat harvest. The grain is seed, seed of the word of God. Those who receive God’s word in Yeshua’s name and keep it are Gods seed, the seed of Abraham by faith, Galatians 3:29. The Omer is also a dry measure and was used to measure how much Manna the children of Israel gathered each day, Exodus 16:16. The Manna was like a seed too, Exodus 16:31. So the Omer is about God’s seed in every way, His Word and His Children, the seed of the Woman. Soon the Lord shall begin to manifest who His seed is. They shall be as numerous as the stars of Heaven or the sand of the sea for multitude, Genesis 15:5. Satan has his seed too, the seed of the serpent. But the seed of the woman shall bruise the serpents head, Genesis 3:15, Romans 16:20.
For over a year I have been warning and alerting God’s people as to the lateness of the hour. I wonder if the Lord is finished warning. I am not ‘worn out’, but the people maybe ‘warned out’! At some point soon the Lord will suddenly move. I don’t know when.
I suspect World War and invasion could happen soon, even by Pentecost. That would be sudden wouldn’t it? It may not happen but it’s the sort of thing that could happen these days. We could also see the latter day outpouring of the Holy Spirit spoken of by Joel. But if it doesn’t happen at this time I still believe it is not far away. We should be getting out of Babylon in our hearts and circumstances as much as possible. I share my thoughts here.
Perverted Demonized Nations
Cheer up, God is in control, even the end of this world is in His Hands. There is a rest for the people of God. Don’t fret, but don’t sleep while the bridegroom tarries either. We should rest in Yeshua without worry. But we should be watching.
I guess you have noticed that things are falling apart? I know many of my readers would of course agree. But perhaps some new readers are still waking up? I ask everyone the question that I have been asking for some time, could at least the first four seals of Revelation 6 have already been opened? The human races blood was attacked in 2020. War in Ukraine has already begun. America is picking a fight externally while destroying herself internally. War with Russia and China is looming, Banks are collapsing, Food prices are going up, the borders are open to thugs, bandits and foreign armies dressed as civilians. Things have gradually gotten worse since early 2020. And the pace seems to be quickening.
Are the birthpangs of Matthew 24 about to hit with a thud? If so then we can’t vote them away, it’s beyond that now. Our leaders are corrupt. Our nations are morally rotten on the inside and our borders are collapsing on the outside. The enemy is not just at the gate, they are within and they are actually running our nations into oblivion as fast as they can. This is not just in the USA, it is everywhere. Our nations have become Sodom. Romans chapter 1 is being played out before us in our government and in our churches. Our nations are being led by reprobate minds because we have rejected God. It’s not just evolution taught in schools, it’s now ‘drag queen story hour’. We are being given over to depravity. We are seeing the legalising of evil with the sexual perverting of little kids that should be innocent. Our schools are grooming children for paedophilia and sex changes. Our nations are becoming demonic, our nations are being turned to hell. The people are becoming possessed. We can’t vote this away. Our nations cannot be redeemed. Individuals may be saved but our nations are toast. I believe what is already going on is the judgement of God, the Lord is giving our nations over to Satan for their judgement and destruction. Our nations have given themselves over to depravity and the result is depraved minds. This is what happens when nations refuse to repent. No nation is above the Law of God, not Israel, not Babylon, not Babylon USA or Egypt anywhere. We need to be sober. Hell is on the move and Death is already stalking. What can the Lamb’s little remnant flock do?
The Lamb is the only one that can open the seals of Revelation, no one can overturn His judgement. But we can look to that same Lamb that conquered death to give us the grace to endure faithfully. The end of our Age is upon us. All we can do is look to Yeshua and hold tightly through this roller-coaster. Help us Lord to hear your voice! There is a rest for the people of God, our Messiah is in control. He will lead us. His Calendar shows us His Times & Seasons.
Taking down America & the World
Ever since early 2020 I have seen the Covid-19 scare and the Lockdowns for what they actually were, the beginning of the take over and dismantling of our nations by the forces of darkness and the bringing in of the Satanic New World Order. The Plandemic was far bigger than just a world war with guns and ammunition (that’s about to hit soon too). I believe that the Seals of the Apocalypse have been opened, and that Covid-19 was the White horse carrying a rider with a bow without arrows. It was a world wide ‘bloodless‘ coup, a judgement with all the world governments in Lockstep and people locked down on a wim because the government said so. Although ‘bloodless‘, this coup was all about the ‘blood‘. Serpents bite and inject poison into the blood, it’s just what they do. No shots were fired, not bullets anyway, not yet. People were not quite forced, but greatly encouraged threatened and manipulated to shoot themselves up with a needle. The pimp that primed the pump was our government. Donald Trump, the ‘good guy’ encouraged Christian America and the world to shoot itself at warp speed. Most followed their master like the Borg of Star Trek, arms outstretched, thinking caps off. So America is now a form of Babylon that has made the world to stagger like a drunkard. Come out of her my people and share not in her man made plagues. But where do we go, the whole world is Babylon and in lockstep?
Why did this happen? Nobody in government can do what they like, a conspiracy of this magnitude has to be given the ‘Green Light‘ from above. Although the Plandemic was Satanic in nature, I believe the Lord used it as His judgement on our nations wickedness because He has opened the Seals. Read Zechariah 5 if you want to see how the Lord curses those that swear falsely by His name. Death is being let loose. However even if Yeshua allowed it that doesn’t mean that the snakes who do it are good, we still have a real enemy and already true believers have died in our hospitals of death, including followers of Torah! They didn’t die of Covid-anything, they died of their treatment in the murder houses that were our hospitals! I am thinking of Rob Skiba, may the Lord avenge his murder and bring justice. So we are already under attack. We must get stronger in these harrowing times. We must get real close to the Lord. We must walk in His will and not allow Satan a foothold. We have to overcome these onslaughts upon our mind and hearts.
If the seals were opened then I would expect things to get worse and worse. Well they have. But where are we in the timeline? If the seals were opened then we cant be far away from things really kicking into gear because we are over the 3 year mark since the Wuhan Plandemic scare began and the Lockdowns began. This is why over the last year I have become more and more concerned. Although things have gradually gotten worse, are things about to suddenly get much worse? Again, I don’t know anything for sure. I expected World War 3 (WW3) to break out earlier. Could the USA be about to be invaded? Is a revolution about to occur? I believe that whatever happens, it is going to be very soon. When the lights of freedom go out in America then they go out everywhere. This murderous time is the time of travail of Zion. It is short but terrible.
Perhaps before attacking America, she would be rocked by internal revolution. Perhaps let America have one last hurrah before the ship goes down. What if Americans think that they have got their country back and the bad guys are arrested, then when their guard is down attack. Or maybe the bad guys are taking over through revolution. In either scenario America is busy with internal strife when the enemy attacks from the outside. This was the prophetic message Dumitru Duduman was given years ago.
If I were a bad guy, hell bent on taking down America, I would disable her communications and infrastructure. So if the internet goes down then I would expect the first wave of an attack is in progress. Perhaps an EMP strike will be employed too. I am just guessing like many others have.
WW3 wont be conventional by any measure in my opinion. I suspect this world war will include mixed human and non human armies with enhanced Super soldiers from Russia and China and other places. WW3 will include Nephilim Giants and various kinds of Hybrids. What has been hidden underground and under the sea will arise. Demonic fallen technology. The invasion of Babylon USA could showcase the use of AI and Robots and tiny insect like Robots. My guess is that these invading nations could furbish Hi tech weaponry that has until now been the stuff of Star Wars fantasy including Sonic, MIcrowave, and Lazer weapons. If you think you are a gung-ho guns blazing preper packing some lead you could easily be hit by a sonic or microwave weapon that knocks you out cold with a single blow before you can fire off a round. I am not against self defence. But I think we need supernatural help, it maybe more like the Terminator movie and a sci-fi horror movie than John Wayne. And finally it could all be directed by the supernatural fallen angelic host of Satan if it happens when the stars begin to fall, Revelation 12, as I suspect it will.
I think that no matter who is in control of the White House, America is still going to be invaded because of the nation’s sins. The home of the brave has become a harlot and a modern day Babylon (and the same can be said of other once christian English speaking nations including Australia). I think we are about to see the modern day ‘land of the North‘ destroyed and the 2nd exodus begin. I believe that the firstfruits rapture is soon, before Zion travails. Then another firstfruits rapture again as soon as Zion travails according to Isaiah 66. See my article ‘Victory, Rapture, Skyfall & 2nd Exodus‘ for details.
My question is, is this all about to happen now? If it isn’t then my timeline is out by some margin. Maybe my sequence is incorrect. Do your own research. It could be that what I think may happen now could happen next year. But I see no reason why it cannot happen now. As I have been saying for a while, there is not much of normal left. Remember the Titanic slowly took on water and then it suddenly did a nose dive into the cold watery abyss. The time of things changing gradually must soon give way to things changing suddenly and drastically. Is that time now?
The Omer, Firstfruits & Ascension
I am thinking about the 40th day of the Omer count and I present some of my thoughts. As usual, I am guessing at some things while other things may be more sure. I know that things are going to get out of hand very soon. I may be wrong on exact details but I may have some valid things to bring to the table. So I present what I have here. And I hope you find something of value to take away. Be strong.
The 40th day of the Omer count this year is Thursday 18th May 2023 which is the 27th day of the second Hebrew month. This is 10 days after the flood on the 17th day of the second Hebrew month. But in the Greek LXX translation of the Hebrew Old Testament states that the flood began on the 27th day! Did the scribes change the scriptures? Who is right? We will talk about that later.
What also happened on this day? Well our dear Lord ascended in a cloud on the 40th day of the Omer count. The Omer count began on Firstfruits when He rose from the dead according to my understanding of scripture (not rabbinic tradition). Will something else occur on this 40th day related to Firsfruits? It’s a possibility, so I mention it here. Before Yeshua’s return the Firstfruits will be raised. Our Lord is Coming.
His Kingdom shall soon invade this darkening world. The darkness is just the backdrop to further contrast the glorious light of Yeshua and His People. Our nations may be crumbling, but Yeshua’s everlasting Kingdom is about to be raised. We are but Pilgrims in this fallen world and we are on a journey to the city of the King. And very soon the King shall return.
I had hoped to see see the Firstfruits rise by now. The first of these Firstfruits are related to the barley harvest. I still believe it could happen any day now. The world is shaking and coming apart at the seams. My question is, is this the year that the Firstfruits are taken because we appear to be running out of time? And if it is the year then the next question is will the Firstfruits be taken before the end of the Omer count? If so then we should see the rapture of the Firstfruits taken to the sky and presented in the heavenly mt Zion.
And immediately after this will begin in earnest the travail for those who remain below including those that still belong to Him but were not ready to rise. This is because only those that have ‘clean hands‘ and ‘a pure heart‘ will rise according to Psalms 24:3-4, as I have discussed previously in the article ‘Victory, Rapture, Skyfall & 2nd Exodus‘. If we have faith in Yeshua but are not ready when He calls then we have to go through some stuff, like the bride in the Song of Songs. It is Zion that travails, and Zion is the congregation of Israel, the church of the firstborn. The travail of Zion will lead to the 2nd exodus.
Will there be a Pentecostal resurrection/rapture also this year related to the gathering of the Wheat firstfruits? That would mean two lots of Firstfruit resurrections, Barley & Wheat. We shall see.
Thankfully the King hears the cry of His subjects who are His sons and daughters. He will bring deliverance in His time but are we listening to Him? Are we listening to the One who hears us? He keeps His Covenant. Are we keeping faith with Him? We are counting on Him, can He count on us? Lord help us to stay close with contrite and obedient hearts.
Will WW3 happen about Pentecost?
I expected it earlier. Will something happen on the 40th day of the Omer? I am watching but I don’t know for sure. But there could be something at this time and so I share what could be and why. There is another reason that I feel that things could erupt about the time of Pentecost or just beforehand. I suspect that the final outpouring of the Holy Spirit spoken of by Joel will happen at this time, far bigger than in Acts chapter 2. Joel tells us that the sun turns to darkness and the moon to blood. There will also be ‘pillars of smoke’ which are literally ‘palm trees of smoke’ (mushroom clouds of WW3?). So something could happen on the 40th day to initiate these events. If this is so then the birthpangs would begin at this time. I would have thought it would have happened by now if it was going to WW3 by Pentecost. So I maybe a year off. I do know that we are to count the Omer for a reason, this time period is being emphasised by God through counting as opposed to just fixing a date.
I still have some problems with a rapture of the firstfruits at this time because the 40th day of the Omer is not a feast day. And 2 Esdras 2:38 tells us that the sons of God are sealed at the feast. 2 Esdras is not in the bible (but it was in the KJV Apocrypha) but I don’t dismiss it either. It joins some dots for me.
35 Be ready to the reward of the kingdom, for the everlasting light shall shine upon you for evermore. 36 Flee the shadow of this world, receive the joyfulness of your glory: I testify my Saviour openly. 37 O receive the gift that is given you, and be glad, giving thanks unto him that hath led you to the heavenly kingdom.
2 Esdras 2:35-42
38 Arise up and stand, behold the number of those that be sealed in the feast of the Lord;
39 Which are departed from the shadow of the world, and have received glorious garments of the Lord.
40 Take thy number, O Sion, and shut up those of thine that are clothed in white, which have fulfilled the law of the Lord. 41 The number of thy children <Revelation gives us the exact number, 144,000>, whom thou longedst for, is fulfilled: beseech the power of the Lord, that thy people, which have been called from the beginning, may be hallowed. 42 I Esdras saw upon the mount Sion a great people, whom I could not number <try counting to 144,000>, and they all praised the Lord with songs.
Who are we counting on & why?
The Lord tells us that we are to count 50 days from Firstfruits to Pentecost, Leviticus 23:15-16. In our little nest, we have been visually counting down the Omer with the cute home made picture above. Each day we colour in another day and we pray the written blessing. It is our way of being mindful of this special 50 day period as we watch for the coming of the Lord. Yeshua ascended 10 days before Pentecost. What else could happen on the 40th day? And what happens 10 days later at Pentecost? Is this the latter day outpouring of the Holy Spirit amidst World War 3? Or is it next year?
In scripture we are instructed to number our days if we would be wise. Obviously I think it is important as we approach our Lord’s return to take His appointed times very seriously.
If you have been following my recent blogs then you know that I have been saying that we could be on the cusp of both rapture and travail this year. I have suspected this, but perhaps I have been too early? Either it will happen or it wont. We will soon know. So far we have not had the 144,000 Firstfruits rapture. It could have happened earlier but it didn’t. We are running out of time for it to happen during the Omer count this year. I may have to adjust my timelines by a whole year at least. Or there is still some chance it’s about to spring forth. I still feel it is at the door. I would like to look at the 40th day of the Omer count in this article, the day when Yeshua ascended into the clouds.
I am acutely aware that our nations are on the cusp of famine, economic collapse, tyranny and invasion. It’s already beginning but it is gathering pace. But it could suddenly all quickly escalate. When this breaks out, including invasion, it is going to be the beginning of the end. Yeshua is coming. We are surely seeing the season of His return ripening quickly. The travail of these birthpangs of the Kingdom shall soon be upon us.
If we keep watching and making adjustments to our calculations then hopefully eventually we will get it right. He tells us to watch and so I believe He wants us to be looking and figuring these things out and seeking His face. Let us find out some reasons why we should “number our days” and “apply our hearts unto wisdom“…
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
Psalms 90:12
לִמְנוֹת יָמֵינוּ כֵּן הוֹדַע וְנָבִא לְבַב חָכְמָֽה׃
The Lord is counting on us to Count the Omer. Why? Why not just give us a date to hang Pentecost on? What is the Lord trying to say to us by getting us to count? We are in the time of the counting of the Omer that leads to the 50th day, Pentecost.
15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
Leviticus 23:15-16
16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.
So why does the Lord want us to count these days? In the past at His first coming significant things happened during the Omer count. Yeshua was raised on day one, ascended on day 40, and 10 days later the church was born on the 50th day, Pentecost. Could it be because He wants us to watch out for something during this time just before His 2nd coming? The Omer is all about the harvest. So could significant things related to the harvest of souls occur during this time? I believe we will see during the 50 days of counting the Omer a future resurrection/rapture and outpouring of the Holy Spirit, even as there was one in the past. I believe He commands us to count the Omer for these very reasons. And He is counting on us to count the Omer because it is all about His return for just as He ascended on a cloud so shall he come with the clouds, Matthew 24:30, 26:64, Mark 13:26, 14:62, Acts 1:9-11.
Yeshua’s Ascension
Yeshua ascended on the 40th day of the Omer count. So what day of the month was this? I suspect it was the 27th day of the second month based on what we know of the crucifixion, not church traditions. If Yeshua was crucified on Passover and died in the evening and spent 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb and rose on the first day of the week (Sunday) that would mean his crucifixion and death was midweek. His resurrection was on Sunday the 17th of the first month, Nissan. This was the feast of Firstfruits which begins the 50 day count to Pentecost. So the 40th day of the Omer count would be the 27th day of the second month. Acts chapter one tells us what happened..
To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:
Acts 1:3
On the 40th day He ascended to heaven in a cloud.
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
Acts 1:9
We were then told that He will return in the same manner.
10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
Acts 1:10-11
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
Luke the writer of the book of Acts then goes on to discuss the fall of Judas. Could this also allude to the falling away that could occur during the period between the 40th day of the Omer and the 50th day which is Pentecost. Could Judas be prophetic of the Apostasy? We already see Apostasy in the last days Laodicean church. But could there be a false period of ‘peace and safety‘ followed by Apostasy and the revelation of the Antichrist? The persecuted Church of Smyrna is told to be faithful 10 days. Is this when Antichrist is revealed? Could Antichrist be revealed in this 10 day time period also? This is all just speculation. But it could be that a lot will happen in a very short period of time.
A nuclear exchange that ignites WW3 could happen at any moment, our world leaders seem hell bent on destroying our nations and igniting such an event. Could this be when Antichrist rises? Could this be when persecution hits an unprecedented level? And could this occur after the sudden disappearance of the 144,000 firstfruits just before Pentecost? If not this year then maybe later.
Again this is all speculation.The 10 days of tribulation that Smyrna has to endure could be figurative or it could occur at any time for example between Trumpets and the Day of Atonement. But let me share what I do know and why I think it is important to be looking for Him and searching for the time of His return…
Looking for Him before vs Travailing afterwards
Yeshua is coming back for those that are His. Those that want Him the most will be those Lambs most obedient to His voice, those that follow Him wherever He goes. The 144,000 firstfruits do just that…
These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
Revelation 14:4
Yeshua told us in the gospels to watch for His coming. We are also to pray to be counted worthy to escape.
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Luke 21:36
We are called to occupy until He comes. We aren’t called to be preoccupied! He will take those that are watching. He will not take those that are not watching. He will not take those that are sleeping. He even warns the church of Sardis that if they wont watch he will come as a thief.
Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Revelation 3:3
I have found a great deal of resistance to talking about these prophetic matters with many believers. I am not talking about make believers, but real beloved brothers and sisters in the Lord. They don’t want to know end times stuff too much. They want to focus on temporal things. They are not worldly. They are even spiritual, but they just don’t want to know. And so this I believe precludes their being ready when Yeshua calls the first of His firstfruits home! They have decided to stay in bed just like the bride in Song of songs. We must listen and obey and not be coy with the Lord when His voice calls us. Otherwise He will leave us in bed.
I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them?
Song of Solomon 5:3:
Her beloved withdraws and she goes about looking for Him. She gets beaten up in the streets. This is all prophetic of Zion. This is the true believing remnant of the church that does truely love the Lord but they were not ready when He called. This could be at the door. It could be even about to happen. We could have rapture of the firstfruits and tyranny occur at the same time.
So Yeshua wont come for the sleeping especially if they have heard His voice to wake up but choose to stay in bed spiritually. We are told that Yeshua will appear to those that look for him.
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many;
Hebrews 9:28
and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
I want to stress this again. Yeshua is not coming for those that are not looking for Him. He is only coming for those that are awake, watching and that look for Him! If you still doubt that it is important to be watching for His coming and looking into these things then consider the Apostle Paul’s advice to the Thessalonians.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
I Thessalonians 5:2-3
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety;
then sudden destruction cometh upon them,
as travail upon a woman with child;
and they shall not escape.
Yeshua said He would come as the ‘thief in the night‘ to those unprepared to watch for Him. What immediately happens after He has taken those that are awake? ‘Sudden destruction‘ comes to the world and to those left behind in the church that preferred sleep. And this is then likened to the birthpangs of a ‘woman with child‘. This takes us to Revelation 12, Isaiah 66, Micah 4:10. This could be the last 10 days of counting the Omer that leads to the final outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the 2nd firstfruits rapture (wheat) and then the turmoil of the 2nd exodus as our nations crash and burn. And this would dovetail with the fall of Satan and His Host as I have already said.
Noah’s Flood begins on the 27th day?
The 40th day of the Omer count is also the 27th day of the 2nd Hebrew month as we have calculated it for this year of 2023. This is 10 days after the flood which came on the 17th day of the 2nd Hebrew month according to my Hebrew KJV bible.
In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
Genesis 7:11
בִּשְׁנַת שֵׁשׁ־מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה לְחַיֵּי־נֹחַ בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי בְּשִׁבְעָֽה־עָשָׂר יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ בַּיּוֹם הַזֶּה נִבְקְעוּ כָּֽל־מַעְיְנֹת תְּהוֹם רַבָּה וַאֲרֻבֹּת הַשָּׁמַיִם נִפְתָּֽחוּ׃
However there is a Greek translation of the old testament done before Yeshua was born that translates it as the 27th day or ‘εβδομη και εικαδι‘ in Greek! Steve from the Torah Family YouTube channel alerted me to this difference in his excellent video entitled ‘As in the Days of Noah – 4th Edition‘.

In the six hundredth year of the life of Noe, in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, on this day all the fountains of the abyss were broken up, and the flood-gates of heaven were opened.
εν τω εξακοσιοστω ετει εν τη ζωη του νωε του δευτερου μηνος εβδομη και εικαδι του μηνος τη ημερα ταυτη ερραγησαν πασαι αι πηγαι της αβυσσου και οι καταρρακται του ουρανου ηνεωχθησαν
Did the scribes change the Greek or the Hebrew? Who is right?
If the Greek is correct that would mean that the flood came and the Ark began to rise on the very day that Yeshua ascended into the clouds on the 40th day of the Omer count. This is 10 days before the 50th day, Pentecost.
Now I don’t know for sure who is right but let’s say the Greek was correct, that could infer that the 10 days between the 40th and 50th days could also be the 10 days that Smyrna were to suffer tribulation and possible martyrdom.
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Revelation 2:10
That sounds like Smyrna could experience a literal 10 days of tribulation if they missed the firstfruits rapture, for example between the 40th and 50th days of the Omer count. And it infers that Yeshua returns at the 6th seal which could well be Pentecost when the moon turns to blood, and the sun turns to darkness. The Lord is pouring out His Spirit and raising the dead with the Pentecostal wheat rapture firstfruits.
Look as I have often said, I don’t know if this happens this year. But it could easily happen shortly or it could be in another year. I just think it WW3 could ignite at anytime with the birthpangs of the Tribulation and KIngdom. So keep watching and praying. If doesn’t happen now, keep it in the back burner for next year.
The number 27 and budding forth of Strength
The 40th day of the Omer occurs on the 27th of the second Hebrew month this year.
One more little note about the 27th day is that the number 27 is also used to denote a year in which the ‘horn‘ or strength of the ‘house of Israel‘ is said to ‘bud forth‘.
17 And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Ezekiel 29:17,21
21 In that day will I cause the horn <Qeren, קֶרֶן> of the house of Israel to bud forth <Tzimiach, צְמִיחַ>, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
So is the number 27 related to firstborn? The 144,000 firstfruits are the first of the Israel’s strength, since they are firstborn sons. A firstborn son is related to firstfruits…
Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me.
Exodus 22:29
So 27 is related to first month, first day and budding forth. I think of Aaron’s rod that budded. The Levites were taken as firstborn instead of the firstborn of each family, Numbers 17. Aaron’s sons were taken as firstborn from a firstborn. So likewise the entire house of Israel will bud forth as the Lord’s firstborn amongst the nations. The firstborn buds first. Only those that are born of Yeshua can bare good fruit. Only those born of Yeshua can be His firstborn. And 27 seems to be related to the ‘church of the firstborn‘. Of course there are 27 books in the New Testament. The firstfruits and the firstborn seem to be related to the number 27.
Psalm 90 – flying away at the end of the ‘Age of Grace’
One final note is that the verse in Psalm 90 that talks about teaching us to ‘number our days‘, so ‘that we may apply our hearts to wisdom‘ has also many prophetic things to say that directly relate to the time of Yeshua’s return. It mentions a thousand years is like yesterday. The Omer count is related to Psalm 90 because it involves numbering our days. Psalm 90 also mentions ‘flying away‘ which is similar to Yeshua Ascending in the clouds. It also talks about man being cut down like grass which reminds us of the end times tribulation. It also mentions being taken away by the flood. All end time metaphors. It talks about God’s wrath. This is 6th seal language. Psalm 90 talks about our average life span being 70 or 80 years, this is a generation. I am reminded of the parable of the fig tree and that generation would not pass away until all things are fulfilled. Israel came into being in 1948. Add 80 years to that we have 2028. Could 2023 or 2024 see the middle of the tribulation and 2nd exodus? I believe Psalm 90 is all about this end time judgement of the wicked and salvation of the righteous in a time of death and destruction.
1 Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
3 Thou turnest man <אֱנוֹשׁ> to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.
4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
5 Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.
6 In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.
7 For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.
8 Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.
9 For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.
10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow;
for it is soon cut off, and we …fly away.
11 Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.
Psalm 90
12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
13 Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.
14 O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
15 Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.
16 Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.
17 And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
I would rather ‘fly away’ than be ‘blown away‘ that’s for sure. Let’s be wise.
