2nd Passover for a Journey Afar off
Passover commemorates the Israelite Exodus from Egypt, and prophetically points to the Lamb of God, Yeshua who delivers us from Satan’s evil kingdom and our sin. But it also points to the soon coming future 2ndExodus from אֶרֶץ צָפוֹן, Eretz Zaphon, translated as the ‘land of the north’ or ‘North Country’, mentioned copiously in the Tenach (Old Testament), Jeremiah 3:18, 16:15, 23:8, 31:8. The 2nd Passover in Numbers 9:10 points to the 2nd Exodus and the 2nd coming of Yeshua as will be explained shortly.
Numbers 9:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD.

It is 2nd Passover on Monday 12th May 2025. Are we about to begin an accelerated period of judgement this year? Certainly things are coming at us faster and faster anyway aren’t they? Who can keep up with the news these days? Could we be coming into a time of scarcity amidst economic and civil upheaval? According to Isaiah 32:9-10, there is a year where the careless daughters of Zion mourn during a time of famine. Could this lead to the 2nd Exodus? Will 2nd Passover initiate this year of upheaval? I think very few are prepared in their hearts for what is coming suddenly upon our nations. It is necessarily traumatic, because of the drowsiness and indifference within God’s house. What will it take to get to our hearts? What will it take to wake us up?
We are told that Israel & Judah will leave ‘weeping’ from a destroyed Babylon, Jeremiah 50:4-5. Is America this new Babylon, the new ‘land of the north’? How can the land of the free be called Babylon? How can the land that pumps out the most Christian programming in the world be so compared to such an ancient and demonic power? Have you heard of the ‘deep state’? You thought you lived in the land of the free, but these days you can’t speak your mind on social media for fear of losing your channel. It’s getting harder to hold it together these days and they want to take you chickens off you and inject your kids. Are those days truly behind us? While Trump does some things right, he is also continuing to bring in the system of the beast through the back door. The Terminator robots are in the pipeline along with the AI to run the whole system including a cyborged race of vaxxed and chipped meat puppets that were once human beings. Welcome to the brand new world that is being foisted up by Mr Trump. While he is dealing to the radical left, he is stabbing the christian right in the back and setting up the digital currency and technology of the beast system. Morally our once christian nations have turned their back’s on God, while the church has become worldly and in bed with the state, with no idea of the judgement that is about to fall. Yes it’s all Babylon. America is not Zion. America is becoming a hi tech prison and Zion is both mostly asleep, compromised and trapped within it.
There is a remnant that is awake. Covid has come and gone for now, but the world has fundamentally changed. Judgement is already here, the nation of America is heading for civil war and invasion, because America has slowly morphed to become the new Babylon, the new land of the Chaldeans. So it too will be invaded, no matter who is President. From the smoking wreakage of a once free land the believing remnant of the 10 lost tribes of the house of Israel will join with the Yeshua following Jews of the House of Judah and leave this shortly to be shattered nation. Greatly shaken, greatly humbled, weeping, but alive, they shall make their exit. This is the 2nd Exodus. The 2nd Passover commemorates this future salvation for those who have touched a dead body or have been on a ‘journey afar off’. Let’s talk about it.
Yeshua returns to His Vineyard from a far country
Remember, Moses is a prophet! Torah is prophecy, not just Law and history. 2nd Passover is for those who have returned from ‘journey afar off’. We see this in multiple places in the parables of the New Testament. Many believers have not made the connection between the parables of Yeshua and the Torah. The bible fits together because the author is the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit). Let’s read.
Mark 13:34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
Yeshua repeats this theme of the far journey in a number of similar parables. And each of the ‘synoptic gospels’ (Matthew, Mark & good Dr Luke) has it’s particular account. I include the references below for your solemn meditation.
Matthew 25:14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
Luke 19:12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
Yeshua also tells a similar story about a vineyard that is left to others to look after while the ‘householder’ goes to a ‘far country’.
Matthew 21:33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:
Mark 12:1 And he began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country.
The ‘House of Israel’ is the Lord’s ‘vineyard’. (The ‘House of Judah’ is his ‘pleasant plant’)
Isaiah 5:7 For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.
So the bible precisely identifies what Yeshua is referring too when he uses the term ‘vineyard’.
The book of Kings give us more detail as to what is going on with this vineyard. Jezebel conspired to get a vineyard for Ahab, 1 Kings 21:7, so too does the spirit of Jezebel hope to capture the church, Revelation 2:20. Let us not be enticed by false religion. A lukewarm Christianity or a prideful Torah observance are both counterfeit spirits. Moses was humble. So is the the Son of Man, and His burden is light, and His Spirit is full of good fruit, not the bile of bitterness or pride etc. Let us not be enticed by a whorish religious spirit. We can start our journey in the spirit and quickly find ourselves in the flesh if we are not careful. Let us not be seduced by the strange woman, the Jezebel spirit. She looks for the simple, and seeks to corrupt the innocent. She whispers sweetly in our Laodicean ears…
Proverbs 7:18-19 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves. For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey:
Let us not think the coming of the Lord is far off. Far too many are living in complacency and dullness of hearing what the spirit is saying to the churches. The Lord will deal with our sin and our stubborn hearts. The Lord will deal with Pastors, prophets and watchmen that are sleeping dogs, loving to sleep, Isaiah 56:10. And the Lord will deal with those that conspired to kill the owner and keep the vineyard. The Lord has a remnant of Judah and Israel that are His, but those that side with the enemy of our souls will be dealt with at His return and even beforehand as the judgement falls.
The parable of the vineyard is important enough for it to appear elsewhere. Luke also gives us an account of this parable.
Luke 20:9 Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time.
Read these parables and think of not only of those that opposed Yeshua at his first coming, but also the false christian ministers in our day. They will do the same thing when given the chance. They will drive out the true sheep and scatter them on hills. Thankfully the Lord will search for them and bring them home as the 2nd Exodus commences, Ezekiel 34:12. Soon thankfully, the ‘far journey’ will end.
The far journey’ began nearly 2000 years ago. That’s quite a journey! How thankful we should be that Moses gave us a ‘heads up’ warning over a thousand years earlier still! God is merciful. Are we listening?
To recap, we have seen that the parables of Yeshua concerning the journey to a far country connect to 2nd Passover. This concept of the ‘far journey’ in Numbers 9:10 connects us to Yeshua’s wonderful return (Even so come Lord Yeshua). Our Awesome God and Saviour’s return is repeatedly emphasised in these numerous parables and thus underlines the importance of 2nd Passover.
2nd Passover, Dead bodies & Defiled Souls
The Passover began after the 10th plague, the ‘death of the firstborn’ of Egypt. Likewise the 2nd Exodus will begin after the Angel of Death is once more released via the 4th Horseman of Revelation 6. This time Death will be followed by Hell. Numbers 9:10 also states that 2nd Passover is for those that cannot keep the first Passover because they have touched a ‘dead body’. This may be a macabre concept to dwell upon here but we need to ‘buckle up’ in our minds and be strong. Because our nations are going to be judged harshly, because to whom much is give, much is also required. Our nations have sinned in the light of the gospel and much of the church is lukewarm.
There will be many dead bodies in our once christian nations as the tares are reaped, and many martyrs fall to the sword, washing their once lukewarm Laodicean garments white in the blood of the Lamb . Our refuge is Yeshua, and if we would see good days, we need at the very least to have a whole bucket full of humility! We need to seek the Lord while He may be found. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him Hebrews 11:6. Do we just trust Him when the sun is shining? Judgement begins first in God’s House, with the Church of the Firstborn who’s names are written in Heaven. Are our garments clean? Are we seeking His face or have our hearts become cold or bitter due to the trials of life? Let us turn to Him afresh! If the salt looses it’s savour, then it is thrown on the streets and trampled of men, Matthew 5:13! This will be literally fulfilled when our nations descend into civil war and invasion. This will come suddenly. I believe the process of dismemberment has already begun, especially since 2020 and covid. No president can stop this process. Jerusalem and Babylon are joined at the hip and after 70 years their sins are being remembered (See Joseph, Jerusalem, Babylon & the Cup of Trembling & 70 Years until judgement of Jerusalem & Babylon USA?).
The Lord in His goodness will run to the prodigal son if he sincerely repents, but His soul hates religious pride. Especially when they have repeatedly turned a deaf ear to the pleading of the Holy Spirit.
Death is the eventual outcome of sin. But 2nd Passover is not just for those that touched a ‘dead body’. The words translated as ‘dead body’, tamei nephesh, טָמֵא לָנֶפֶשׁ, are more literally translated as ‘defiled of soul’. We can all very easily become defiled in our souls. Yeshua came for the saving of our souls. Come to Yeshua and His salvation is an instant thing, but the working out of our salvation is a process, Philippians 2:12, James 1:21, Hebrews 10:39, 1 Peter 1:9.
We need to keep our hearts pure despite all the lust and pride that is in this ‘world of hurt’. We have a full time job just dealing with the rot within, but the hurts that come along can compound the brokenness many times over. We are so easily bent out of shape. This is a war, a war upon our souls. Like Adam, we can so easily blame God for what we stumble into when the trials come. It’s so easy to be contaminated with pride and resentment in our unseen brokenness and self justification. Let us not remain prodigal sons, in the state of a ‘defiled soul’, but let us trust and run to our Father trusting in His love in the name of our Saviour and great God, Yeshua. Defilement must not be allowed to take dominion in our hearts.
The idea of being ‘defiled of soul’ for those that keep 2nd Passover, doesn’t just stop at things we are grappling with now. It has an ultimate fulfilment when the most defiling of creatures is cast out of heaven. When Satan falls, He spues water out of His mouth, which will be very defiling because I suspect it is the ‘living dead’ that is pursuing the woman, Zion. I will briefly talk about that at the end of this article.
The Prodigal Son returns from His harlotry in a far country
Not only has the Son of God been on a far journey to a ‘far country’ but so too has Ephraim, ‘the younger son’, the ‘Prodigal Son’. The Lord longs for his return.
Jeremiah 31:20 Is Ephraimmy dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.
Ephraim must return from His swine food and heathenism to remember His father’s house and who he actually is. He may think he is living in the promised land, but he is living in Babylon.
Luke 15:13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took hisjourney into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
We need to turn to Yeshua for salvation. We need to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. We need to return to the Father from our heathen religious practices. And we need to do so with humility. Sadly many messianic folks fall into the trap of religious pride, just like many lukewarm Christians, the human heart is desperately wicked, Jeremiah 17:9. Let us deal with our prodigal hearts while there is still time, it could be that the wreaking ball of judgement comes this year! Let us redeem the time. We may see famine coming along social chaos, death due to vaccines and invasion. It could come suddenly, maybe even this year! I don’t know but I am watching. The Kingdom of God is coming, unless God tells you otherwise, get out of the cities if you can and trust in the Lord.
So 2nd Passover is related to Yeshua on a long journey. But it is also related to the 10 lost tribes of the House of Israel, which are the Prodigal son that spent their portion of their Father’s fortune on riotous living in a far country. So could the regathering of the 10 lost tribes from Babylon America and the other Babylons like Australia will commence on the 2nd Passover? Does this disruptive process begin this 2nd Passover in 2025 on Monday, or is it next year? Before ‘Babylon’ is destroyed in Jeremiah 50 &51, we see arrow firing Elam (Iran and it’s missiles and nuclear program) taken out in Jeremiah 49 and they become refugees amongst the nations. Is this about to happen to Iran? Are our Babylon’s next (because Jeremiah 50 follows chapter 49)?
1st Exodus no longer remembered in comparison to 2nd
In Jeremiah 16 and 23 there are two instances where it clearly states that the children of Israel (House of Israel and Judah) will come out of the ‘north country’ together (we will look at this shortly). There are many other references in Jeremiah 6:22, 16:15 & 31:8 to this exodus from the ‘north country’. There is an ancient North country by the Euphrates, Jeremiah 46:10. But there is another land in our day that also fulfils the criteria, in fact there may be a couple of them, one could be modern Russia, Jeremiah 50:9, that attacks the other North Country, North America which is also Babylon. The 2nd Exodus from the ‘north country’ is also associated with Babylon in Jeremiah 50:4-5 where we come out of Babylon ‘weeping’ after it is also attacked from the north (Russia, Jeremiah 50:9).
The 2nd Exodus will occur after the invasion, at a time of devastation. But there is good news amidst the horror, because the new covenant comes in it’s fullness according to Jeremiah 31:31 to both houses of Israel and Judah. And this is new covenant is confirmed by the Spirit outpouring of Joel 2:30 because it occurs when the sun goes dark and the moon turns to blood and ‘pillars of smoke’. These are nuclear explosions going off (‘palmtrees of smoke’ translated as ‘pillars of smoke’ in the KJV). This is the regathering of the bride, Song of Solomon 3:6.
Anyway we are leaving the ‘land of the north’ (north America) and the other nations that we are scattered in because they will soon be a smoking ruins. Here in Jeremiah 16 we read of the state of Israel before they were dispersed, which sounds eerily like their condition now before their return. Read the whole chapter for context. Much death, but a hope for a far future remnant…
Jeremiah 16:14-15
Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.
Then this is repeated in chapter 23 but with some differences. Firstly it is preceded with the judgement of the leaders of the House of Israel, including it’s shepherds, the pastors of the compromised church.
Jeremiah 23:7-8
Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
But, The Lord liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.
In verse 8 we see that it is the Lord himself that is leading the 2nd Exodus from the North Country! But this is after judgement has already devastated this last days Babylon called North America. The battle is over the ‘seed’. The ‘seed of the woman’, this is the believing remnant of Israel and Judah. So there is a remnant of Jacob that shall return. And if the nations want to return with us, they are welcome, the believers amongst the gentiles are called the ‘remnant of her seed’ according to Revelation 12:17. The believing gentiles shall be the object of the serpent Satan’s special hatred, so they would be wise to join us as we head to the wilderness. The question of when the rapture occurs is closely coupled with these events. There will be a first fruits rapture which includes the 144,000. But they don’t stay in heaven, they return to expedite the 2nd Exodus as per Isaiah 49 as His Servants under Yeshua, the leading servant so to speak. This is a mystery that many do not grasp, the 144,000 participate with Yeshua the suffering Servant as His suffering ‘bruised reed’ servants in Isaiah 42 before they transition through glorification in immortal bodies to being His ‘polished shaft <arrows>’ servants in Isaiah 49. Is this just about to begin?
Lord How Long?
So here we are at 2nd Passover in 2025. I thought he would raise them up during Passover, but is it actually 2nd Passover? And does this process begin this year or is it next year etc? Is this the time that the Lord raises up His 144,000 Servants to preach, like Him and his 12 disciples as per Isaiah 42 as suffering ‘bruised reed’s, before becoming Isaiah 49 ‘polished shaft’s after their sealing with immortal bodies?
Is there a year of lead up before the 2nd exodus because according to Isaiah 32, the careless women of Zion (ie the Church, the woman in Revelation 12) is given just over a year to work things out.
Isaiah 32:9-10
Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech.
Many days and years <literally days upon a year> shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come.
So is there just over a year of turmoil, according to Isaiah 32:9-10 and Yeshua comes the following year on 2nd Passover? If the vintage fails, if food becomes scarce, famine will result. Will it take famine to reconcile the remnant of Israel and Judah? God used famine to help facilitate reconciliation in Joseph’s day didn’t He?
This would correspond with the scarcity of the 3rd horseman. And it dovetails with the account of future famine to Jacob when Damascus is destroyed according to Isaiah 17. It states that ‘Jacob is made thin’, no more cheese burgers. So famine begins this year long period that culminates in the 2nd Exodus. The herds of cattle and battery hens are already being culled. So the pump is already being primed. And along side it are the wars and rumours of wars and societal collapse. Much death is coming. I think of the vision of Ken Peters, a vision of a lot of death, bodies on the street and deep despair.
What a wake up call is coming. In Joshua 4 we read that the Jordan overflows it’s banks during harvest. Harvest begins in Passover with the wave sheaf. Could we be entering the time of harvest, with souls being shaken from their slumber, and people repenting as our nations turn to chaos, with the 4 horsemen running wild and the events of Mat 24 coming to pass? If it is not now, it must be soon, because things are already unravelling in the world.
Look I see beyond the gloom to the coming Kingdom. I am not waiting for gloom, but glory. Because I want the Lord’s Kingdom to come, I am looking beyond the pain, to His return, and our gathering to Him. I am looking forward to Israel & Judah becoming one nation again. Personally I could get a little jaded waiting every feast day for things to happen, but we must be patient, there may be a time when people will turn to the Lord, when the prophetic voice will be listened to.
We have the current ‘state of Israel’ (actually the ‘state of Judah’, still mostly in unbelief) come together before the day of the Lord as per Zephaniah 2:1. And along side that, we have a the destruction of Gaza happening before our eyes which occurs a few verses later. But the true regathering of believing Israel and Judah, does not occur until Babylon is judged as per Jeremiah 50:4. And we are leaving a broken Babylon weeping, not proudly or lifted up. God has humbled us. But we are saved, if we survive the sudden destruction of Babylon. I think also of the visions of Dumitru Dudeman and the sudden nuclear attack on America from Russia, China and some south/central American nations.
Are we about to see famine coming as per Isaiah 17 when Damascus is destroyed? It’s all very close now!
I have put together a whole series of timelines, and if the world doesn’t blow up tomorrow, I might put them together as a blog. Of course it is all speculation but I am a pilgrim and I am longing for the establishment of our Lord’s Kingdom. And I know that that Kingdom sure isn’t Australia. And it is not America either. But the Kingdom of God is within us, and Zion is currently locked within Babylon, and for the most part Zion thinks she is free! Thankfully we are leaving soon.
I am watching the headlines carefully. Israel and America’s leaders may agree at certain times. But their goals may also diverge. If Trump allies himself with Saudi Arabia, who do not recognise Israel, then he cold try and force Israel to give the Palestinians a State. If he does this then that will bring God’s curse upon both Israel and Babylon America because cursed is he who divides God’s land.
Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Joel 3:2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
If America divides Israel, then America will be divided and the remnant of the House of Israel & Judah shall leave America by Cesarean. So if this happens shortly we may leave sooner than we think. If this scenario happens with the Abraham Accords then watch out. The 2nd Exodus may be in motion as the judgements hit home. The defeated Palestinians could end up breaking America’s back.
The 2nd Month
I don’t want to elaborate on the following because the article would be too big. But I will touch on them briefly…
The 2nd month is significant not only because of 2nd Passover. The flood of Noah came, during the 2nd month, a few days after 2nd Passover on the 17th day (during the 7 days that would be 2nd Unleavened Bread). I have long suspected that the flood is a picture of the fall of Satan and His angels over a period of 40 days which corresponds with the time of the 2nd Exodus because the ‘woman’, Zion, in Revelation 12, is escaping Satan and His Satanic flood of water that comes from His mouth, the ‘Zombie Apocalypse’ when the wicked come to eat up our flesh, Psalm 27. She leaves, just as the 144,000 are raised in glory, the ‘manchild’ who are Yeshua’s brethren. They are the ‘Barley firstfruits’ wavesheaf, Leviticus 23:11, but taken in the 2nd month, because it is the 2nd Exodus at the 2nd Passover! (There is also the ‘Wheat firstfruits’ waveloaves’ rapture at Pentecost as I understand it, and the one at Tabernacles which correspond to the ‘shalosh regalim’, the three festivals that all the males Israel are to come to the heavenly Jerusalem, Deuteronomy 16:16).
The events in Revelation 12 correspond to the events of Daniel 12 because the Arch Angel Michael is mentioned and both are the end time tribulation, translated ‘trouble’ in Daniel 12:1. In verse 2 we are told of a resurrection of both the wicked and righteous at that time. You didn’t hear that from your pastor. So the Zombie Apocalypse occurs when the wicked dead are raised. It could be that many that are vaxxed are killed just before this occurs so that they rise moments later as the ‘undead‘. If you see a lot of people walking on all fours like bugs, then you know that they are unclean, Leviticus 11:27. This is ghoulish stuff, but according to Daniel 12:1, all those amongst Israel (‘thy people’) that are found ‘found written in the book’ ‘shall be delivered’. So unlike the wicked horror movies there is nothing to fear if we belong to the Lord. It says in numerous places that the wicked shall eat one another during a time of famine, Isaiah 9:20. I think we have a year of general collapse of the USA before the 2nd Exodus that corresponds with Isaiah 32:9-10.
On a more cheerful note, another correspondence with the 2nd month is that the modern state of Israel celebrates it’s Independence Day on the 5th day of the 2nd Hebrew month. And the 6 Day war in 1967 that captured East Jerusalem and the temple mount also commenced in this month on the 22nd.
