Introduction
The 4 gospels hint at 4 different harvests, 4 different species of believer, like the 4 cherubim looking at Yeshua from 4 different perspectives.
I have broken this article into 2 parts because before I discuss the clues concerning the different raptures or harvests contained in the 4 gospels I want to discuss why we have 4 gospels in the first place! And then I want to also discuss why 3 gospels are similar and 1 is quite different. I call this the ‘3-4 pattern‘. I will also show this 3-4 pattern elsewhere in scripture. And I will describe how all of this is all about the promised ‘seed of the woman‘ and His people and their dominion over the earth. I will also show how this 3-4 pattern is related to the numbers 7 & 12 and how that relates to the timing of things for Israel and the ‘congregation of Israel‘ which is Zion, which is the church of the firstborn.
I will talk about the different ‘rapture scenarios‘ in the next section titled ‘Rapture Ready‘ and how they could all be correct, and how the truth was missed due to blindness and disobedience within the church because it broke the commandments about time, that is, the sabbath and the feasts and thus missed the timing of the various harvests and raptures, plural. When looking at the timing of the wedding in heaven we see instances where it points to Passover and others to Pentecost, Trumpets through to Tabernacles. We also have other non feast days where it is plausible to be ‘taken‘. Has the church been arguing over a subject where all are both partially right and wrong at the same time because there is more than one rapture harvest event? So could it be that these truths are beginning to be unsealed now? And speaking of ‘seals‘, a question I am asking is, ‘are the 7 seals already opening? (It is my hunch that they have been opening on Rosh HaShannah, one year apart, from the beginning of the Plandemic in 2020, time will soon confirm if this is true or not. Are we in the 4th seal already as I have previously speculated in ‘Joseph, Jerusalem, Babylon & the Cup of Trembling‘? Will this become apparent in the 50 day countdown between Passover to Pentecost as the harvest begins? In any case I strongly suspect that 2024 will be a ‘time of death‘, a ‘time of travail‘ if things continue as they are, or even quicken in pace. They could thus also be a time of raptures plural and the 2nd exodus.)
The events in the world are quickly bringing in the end times that so many dread. The ‘Tribulation‘ is the ‘time of jacob’s trouble‘, Jeremiah 30:7. Surely we don’t want to miss the Lord when He comes? God has not given us a ‘spirit of fear‘, 2 Timothy 1:7. Jacob shall ‘be saved‘. But only those of Jacob that are obedient will qualify, because, like the flood, ‘the end of all flesh‘ is also coming in the sense that the ‘carnal man‘ shall be judged, the grass shall be mowed, Psalm 37, the wicked shall be destroyed and Sodom shall burn along with the Babylons that are our nations. A very small remnant shall be saved, Isaiah 1:9. So we ought to be getting ready. Politics wont save us. Riches do not deliver in a time of wrath, Proverbs 11:4, but they may do some good before then. Guns and ammunition are only for a holy people that have God’s favour, they do little against Giants and the supernatural. Only Yeshua’s blood and our humble obedience will save us. The shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit will be of more use in the supernatural day of battle. The poor may not afford a fort or ammo but they can be rich in faith and the power of the Word of God. The great leveller is coming. Men and women filled with the Spirit of God shall put to flight the armies of the alien, while proud strong men of flesh fail, along with their trust in their carnal weapons of war. I am not a war monger, neither am I a pacifist, neither am I against natural preparedness, what I am saying is the King has His Men and they know Him, and they know their own frailty and weakness and they put their trust in His Power and protection. David had a great heart before he was anointed. And when anointed, that is when his troubles and tribulations began! But he overcame, and though he stumbled greatly he made it through the storms of life and will be raised as a KIng under Yeshua.
The ‘church‘ is the ‘congregation‘ of Israel and we are part of the heavenly Jerusalem, mt Zion, Hebrews 12. We are the ‘Israel of God‘, Galatians 6:16, that is, ‘believing Israel‘, no matter where we come from. This body of believers called the ‘church‘ began at Pentecost in Acts chapter 2. But within a house are vessels of honour and vessels of dishonour. There are rewards for obedience within those saved, there are firstfruits and there are the great multitudes. There are different crops too.
It is my belief that the ‘church age‘ will end at Pentecost with sudden destruction and the latter rain outpouring after our nations are smoking ruins. It will be preceded by the rapture of the first 144,000 related to the barley harvest, they will aid the remnant that remains in preparation for the 2nd exodus from the burnt out shells of our nations. The time between Passover to Pentecost will see the persecution of Matthew 24 etc. Could this begin in 2024 (again I am speculating)? But to my mind a final end times harvest is surely about to begin. World war 3 may begin in the natural, but if it aligns with the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse, death will be followed by hell which includes the fallen angels, Nephilim giants and other demonic beings. But the King of Heaven has his Men. He has his warrior angels and his firstborn sons of Israel that shall rule with a ‘rod of iron‘, the 144,000. They shall defend the remnant of Zion, which is the remnant church in the USA and elsewhere as the sword of judgement falls on our lands. This will lead to the 2nd exodus during the seal judgements of Revelation 6 which align with the events of the Olivet discourse in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. However there are some variations in those 3 accounts, and those differences are the substance of this 2 part article. The differences between these accounts of Yeshua’s words there give us clues alluding to different harvest groups, some raptured, some regathered through the 2nd exodus, some taken early, some taken later.
I have written copious articles concerning the 144,000, which are the ‘firstfruits‘ of the harvest, they are the ‘firstborn‘ sons. But what about the harvest of the main crop of believers? This is the substance of part 2 of this article which will follow this one. In part 2 we will look at the main harvest of barley, wheat and summer fruits and their connection to the rapture of those that are ready for the Lord. As I read the scriptures, it is not just about believing in Yeshua, it is about watching and being ready. Do you think we are we all going up at once? Do you think that there is only one rapture? Do the 4 gospels give us a clue? Are there clues and patterns in the gospels that may open things up in more detail? The Torah, the prophets and the New Testament are all the word of God. What does the Spirit of God reveal in His word concerning who goes when? Will a door soon be opened in heaven? Who is it opened for? We will look at the various groups going up and when they go up in detail in part 2.
After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
Revelation 4:1
A door has 4 sides. Wherever we see 4 of something in scripture there is a connection between them. In part 1 of this article here, I want to lay the ground work of why we have 4 gospels in the first place. I want to delve into the number 4. Why is it significant? How does it relate to the harvest raptures and regatherings? How does it related to the biblical feasts, the church, and what the Lord is about to do within the ‘Israel of God’?
The 4th feast is Pentecost or Shavuot in Hebrew, which is at the beginning of the wheat harvest. The number 4 is about dominion of the promised seed. On the 4th day the sun, moon and stars were created. These lights are to rule the day and night. Joseph’s two dreams of the ‘sun, moon & stars‘ and ‘harvest stacks‘ link the 4th day of creation with the 4th feast when the harvest begins. In both dreams they bowed down to him. Like the 4th day of creation, the 4th feast is about rulership and dominion of the promised seed. There are 4 compass points for the dominion of the seed of God. The 4th church is Thyatira, and the overcomers rule with a rod of iron, like Yeshua, but under Him. They are the firstfruits of the seed of the woman, they will rule with God, they are the 144,000. Leadership and dominion is implied in the number 4.
There are 4 gospels, of which 3 are similar and are called the synoptic gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. The 4th gospel of John is quite different in style and content. It stands alone. We will look at this pattern of 3 similar things plus a 4th thing that is unique and contrasted to the former 3.
I will briefly introduce some possible hints of different harvests or raptures or regatherings in the Olivet discourses of Matthew, Mark and Luke. John appears to represent something different. I see in the book of John a link to the Firstborn Son, the 144,000 and the raising up of the Cohanim or Priesthood. On one level this points to the revival of the earthly Levitical Priesthood, and on another it points to a higher warrior priesthood, that is like David, Aaron and Joseph combined, which is the 144,000. But we wont get into that too much as I have talked about this before.
So to repeat, the purpose of part 1 of this article is to show patterns of 4 and patterns of ‘3 within 4‘ elsewhere in scripture that show the reason why we have 4 gospels, and why 3 of them are similar while the 4th is quite different. This is all related to the promised seed that shall have dominion. This is the 144,000 and the bride and great multitudes. And when the seed is ready to sprout, it shall rise into the heavens.
A Quick Peek into Part 2
In part 2 I will show how the 4 gospels are pointing to different harvests as I compare the 3 Olivet discourses and contrast them to the gospel of John. I will go into this in more detail in part 2 but let’s look briefly at the 4 gospels and what harvest groups they are pointing to.
John points to the raising of the first 144,000 related to the barley harvest, before the travail comes upon Zion which is the church of the firstborn. This is the ‘manchild‘ brought forth ‘before she travailed‘ in Isaiah 66:7-8.
7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.
Isaiah 66:7-8
8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
Luke seems to point to the 2nd group of 144,000, related to the firstfruits of the wheat crop of Pentecost and referred to as ‘her children‘ which were brought fourth as soon ‘as soon as Zion travailed‘. This would seem to occur when Jerusalem is compassed about with armies and World War 3 has already commenced but before the ‘Abomination of Desolation‘ because Luke does not mention that.
Mark is related to those that see the ‘Abomination of Desolation‘ raised up after the firstfruits of the wheat harvest are taken but still within the rest of the main wheat harvest.
Finally Matthew is related to those that are alive and remain at his coming, including those believing Jews who flee to the mountains and later fight for the earthly Jerusalem as described in Zechariah 12.
In part 2 I will show from the gospels and other new testament writings that when it comes to the ‘rapture‘ it’s not just about believing in Yeshua, yes of course we need to know Him, but it’s about being ‘ready‘, like a bride is ready for her groom, or a soldier is standing guard and watching! Also in part 2 I will show how the various harvests are implied in other parts of the gospels and also in the 7 churches in Revelation etc. I will show how the promises to the 7 churches imply different harvest raptures or regathering.
Rapture Ready?
The rapture is the catching up into the air of those that are alive and belong to Yeshua. For those who are dead it will be preceded by a resurrection from the dead. Paul talks about this in first epistle to the Corinthians.
But every man in his own order:
I Corinthians 15:23
Christ the firstfruits;
afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
Of course we must not confuse rapture and resurrection. The ‘rapture‘ (from latin) is being ‘caught up‘, ‘harpazo‘ in greek. Dead people are resurrected first, those stilll alive are caught up or raptured as we are told in Thessalonians.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise <resurrection>first:
I Thessalonians 4:16-17
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together <greek ฮฑฯฯฮฑฮณฮทฯฮฟฮผฮตฮธฮฑ, latin vulgate translation ‘rapiemur‘ or ‘rapture‘ in english > with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
The church has thought that there is only one resurrection or one rapture, but there are a number of them according to the harvest-feast calendar, and because of a lack of understanding of what the feasts and harvests relate to. There is disagreement as to when Yeshua comes for His Bride, is it before, during or after the tribulation? Remember Moses was a prophet, the torah is not just law it is also prophecy.
We have all hopefully heard the various arguments concerning when ‘the rapture‘ occurs. There are 3 main views.
- Pre-Tribulation. Rapture occurs before the tribulation.
- Mid-Tribulation. Rapture occurs middle of the tribulation’
- Post-Tribulation. Rapture occurs after the tribulation.
In our studies of the 144,000 it is clear that they are ‘firstfruits‘, and so according to 1 Corinthians 15:21, they, like Yeshua, who is also ‘firstfruits‘, must go up first. I have discussed all this before. But now we come to the non 144,000, the Bride herself, the remnant church of Zion, which are those ‘afterward‘ who are ‘at his coming‘.
Firstfruits are the first of the various harvests. There are 3 main harvests, Barley, Wheat and Summer Fruit. We are told that 3 times a year the males are to appear before the Lord, at;
- Unleavened Bread – Barley Harvest
- Firstfruits – Wheat Harvest
- Tabernacles – Summer Fruit
So have we been arguing about the rapture because the church does not understand torah? Is our ignorance of the rapture due to our ignorance of the foundations of scripture? Are our arguments on rapture timing, based on the jettisoning of the Lords commandment on time, that is, the sabbath, and the rejection of the feasts by the church? Are our misunderstandings and disagreements on rapture timing based on ignorance of the harvests and feasts? Have all 3 views been at least partially correct?
Is it only as we enter the tribulation that the blinders fall off our eyes? Is it only as the time of Jacob’s trouble comes upon him that he wrestles with these matters, and with the Lord Himself?
There are 7 churches in Revelation 2 and 3. They all have different promises and issues. Two do not have any fault. We can see them historically through time. But they are all represented in the time of travail, some are promised to escape, some must endure, some escape 10 days later, some get gold tried in the fire, which is ultimately the trial of the tribulation. So could it be that the truth was staring at us all along? Could it be, that what time the rapture occurs depends more upon our hearts and obedience than on a one size fits all rapture for everyone?
Could it be that Yeshua told us to watch for a reason? And that watching for the groom and the end times is far more important than many believers realise? Yeshua is looking for a Bride that wants Him. Yeshua is coming for watchmen that are actually watching! We may disagree on details, but are we in any case diligently watching and seeking Him, Luke 12:37, Hebrews 11:6?
It appears to me that Yeshua is going to take those that are ready first, and come for those that are not ready, a little later. Some believers are thus related to the barley crop from the time of Unleavened Bread, others are related to the wheat that comes in after Pentecost. Still others are related to the summer fruit at the end of the harvest at Tabernacles. So it is not just a matter of believing in Yeshua that secures our rapture, it is a matter of readiness and heart preparedness. What crop are you a part of?
Let’s now look at the number 4 which is at the centre of the 7 feasts and 7 churches and ties all 7 feasts and 7 churches together.
A Door & the Number 4
The 4th Letter of the Hebrew Aleph-bet is called ‘dalet‘,ื, it has a numeric value of 4 and it’s name also means ‘door‘. The door leads to the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Yeshua. Judah, ืืืืื, is YHVH’s name, ืืืื, with a ื, dalet (door) at the centre of it. A door has 4 sides, one of which touches the ground. Like the 4 sided door, this article deals with 4 regatherings made up of 3 heavenly raptures and one earthly regathering at the physical return of Yeshua encoded in the 4 gospels and clearly illustrated in the Torah. So which door will you go through?
After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
Revelation 4:1
According to the Torah and contrary to what I was taught, I see more than one rapture, or harvest. I have talked often about the 144,000 but in this article I will focus on the non 144,000 groups related to these harvests. I have explained before that 3 times a year the males are to appear before the Lord, during the feast of;
- Unleavened Bread,
- Pentecost and
- Tabernacles,
which relates to 3 main crops,
- Barley,
- Wheat and
- Summer Fruit
and 3 different raptures. But I want to show how this also corresponds to 3 of the 4 gospels,
- John,
- Luke and
- Mark
as I will explain shortly. The regathering of Israel at the return of Yeshua to the earth is related to the remaining gospel of Matthew and so there is no rapture encoded here, but a physical gathering on the earth is implied at Yeshua’s return.
The 4 sides of the door and the 4 gospels also correspond to the 4 species during Sukkot. 3 of these species are held together in the right hand while one is held separately, the ‘etrog‘. This parallels the 3 synoptic gospels and the book of John which relates to the ‘etrog‘, which relates to the heart and to the chosen firstborn son, the 144,000 as I understand it and will explain.
3 Firstfruit Gatherings at the 3 Main Harvests
A mentioned earlier, within the 7 feasts in Leviticus 23 there are 3 times that the males are to appear before the Lord…
Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose;
Deuteronomy 16:16
in the feast of unleavened bread,
and in the feast of weeks,
and in the feast of tabernacles:
and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:
The feast of Unleavened bread occurs over 7 days. So this time period also includes Passover and firstfruits so all of the first 3 feasts are represented within it. Pentecost (‘Shavuot’ / feast of weeks) is by itself, so there is only one feast that they keep when they ‘appear before the Lord’. Finally there is the feast of Tabernacles begins on the 15th day of the seventh month. Two other feasts precede it, Trumpets (‘Yom Teruah’ also called ‘Rosh HaShannah’) on the first day of the seventh month and the day of Atonement (‘Yom Kippur’) on the 10th day.
So the males appear before the Lord 3 times per year and these 3 times are close to all 7 feasts, 3 in the first month, one in the middle and 3 in the 7th month. We can see a 3-4 pattern going from both ends of the 7 feast cycle so that Pentecost is the 4th feast from either direction, with 3 grouped close together in the first month and the seventh. This 3-4 pattern is seen in the gospels and elsewhere as I will discuss.
The 3 times that the males appear are when firstfruits are presented before the Lord. What happened in the earthly Levitical temple is a representation of what will occur spiritually in the heavenly temple. There will be 3 main soul harvest to the heavenly realm, 3 different raptures of firstfruits.
No one is to appear before the Lord empty. With the 144,000 firstfruits is a great multitude. They used their talents to save souls. Their offering was the harvest of souls won and standing in heaven in Revelation 7 and 14. Like the ‘parable of the talents‘, Matthew 25:14-30, or the parable of the Mina‘s, , we should have accomplished something for the KIng of Heaven and the Kingdom of God. Hopefully souls and good works will have been done while we were in our flesh. We have been given gifts and abilities, some more, some less, and we are to live by faith and use our talents to further the kingdom of God.
In the ‘parable of the labourers in the vineyard’ in Matthew 20:1-16 we see that the Lord sends our labourers at multiple times. The gathering of grapes in the vineyards would equate to the summer harvest time. This would mean that there are different groups of labourers called by the Lord to gather souls towards the feast of tabernacles in the 7th month. This is all prophecy during the tribulation period.
So there are multiple harvests of souls with barley in the spring beginning in the first month and a firstfruits rapture on the feast of firstfruits followed by the ‘multitude‘ of the main harvest. This brings to mind Revelation 7 with the 144,000 followed by the great multitude. Then there is the Pentecostal firstfruits of wheat with I believe is the 2nd group of 144,000 at Pentecost, followed by a multitude in Revelation 14 which is the main harvest of wheat. Remember that barley or wheat represents soul harvests. Then there is a grape and summer fruit harvest in the 7th month which is at the same time as the completion of the wheat harvest. The Lord dispatches multiple groups of labourers to harvest his vineyard and labour a short while. What is happening in the book of Revelation is laid down in the agricultural harvest and feast calendar in the Torah. The gospels give us more insights as do the rest of the scriptures.
4 Compass Points, 4 Species, 4 Cherubim, 4 Gospels
Because I want to focus on the 4 gospels and the different harvest raptures or regatherings that they relate to, I want to delve a little deeper into the meaning of the number 4 as it relates to the subtitle above.
Back in 2012 I wrote an article entitled ‘4 Square & the 5th Encampment‘ where I showed that the church is like the tabernacle with 4 sides related to the 4 cherubim and how it replaces Satan and His angels who was the 5th cherub, the ‘anointed cherub that covereth’, Ezekiel 28:14. See also ‘Pyramid Power & the 5th Element‘ and โThe 5th Cherubโ. Have a look at these articles for details of how the church and Israel fit together. The church is essentially the ‘congregation’ of Israel, the Church is Zion!
The four gospels are related to the 4 points of the compass, North, South, East and West, which in turn are related to the 4 cherubim, the Lion, Ox, Man and Eagle. These cherubim were seen in the following visions…
In Ezekiel we read.
As for the likeness of their faces,
Ezekiel 1:10
- they four had the face of a man,
- and the face of a lion, on the right side:
- and they four had the face of an ox on the left side;
- they four also had the face of an eagle.
These 4 creatures were seen a little differently by the apostle John as described in the book of Revelation.
Revelation 4:7
- And the first beast was like a lion,
- and the second beast like a calf,
- and the third beast had a face as a man,
- and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
The 12 tribes were encamped around the tabernacle in the wilderness in 4 groups of 3 headed by one of the tribes as described in numbers chapter 2.
The 4 sides of the tabernacle relate to the 4 cherubim.
- Lion = 3 tribes encamped in the East headed by Judah.
- Ox = 3 tribes encamped in the West headed by Ephraim.
- Man = 3 tribes encamped in the South headed by Ruben.
- Eagle = 3 tribes encamped in the North headed by Dan.
These cherubim faces are equated with the above tribes according to the blessings that Jacob gave to his sons in Genesis 49. The only one that may cause trouble identifying is the tribe of Dan who is likened to a serpent, which is the also related to the eagle according to the Zodiac as I will briefly describe shortly.
These 4 sides of the tabernacle also relate to 4 sides of Jerusalem, both with 4 groups of 3 gates on each side. So the same pattern repeats, what we see with the encampment around the tabernacle is also seen with Jerusalem. The arrangement of the 12 tribes into 4 sides align with the 4 cherubim.
In Ezekiel 48:31-34 there are three gates on each of the four sides of a future earthly Jerusalem during the millennium.
In Revelation 21 we read of the heavenly Jerusalem’s 12 gates with 3 on each of the four sides.
12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
Revelation 21:12-13
13 On the east three gates;
on the north three gates;
on the south three gates;
and on the west three gates.
The 4 sides of the tabernacle or Jerusalem also align with the 4 celestial points of the Zodiac, Leo, Taurus, Aquarius and Scorpio which relate to the faces of the cherubim. All 12 signs of the Zodiac actually correspond to the 12 tribes of Israel which are to be as numerous as the stars of heaven as Abraham was promised.
The Dragon Satan, the ‘accuser of the brethren‘, still comes before the throne of God accusing the brethren until he is cast out in Revelation 12. He is represented by the constellation of ‘draco‘ which means dragon. The big and little dipper represent the 2 groups of 144,000, the firstfruits of barley and wheat as I understand it in Revelation 7 and 14. They follow the lamb wherever He goes. The dragon and his minions, the angels that shall fall will be replaced by the church of the firstborn. This is pictured in the Book of Esther as humble Esther replaces proud Vashti.
What we see in the 12 constellations of the Zodiac depicts the arrangement of the throne of God and Israel. Ultimately surrounding the throne in the ‘utmost parts of the north‘, depicted by the north star, Polaris, are the 4 cherubim are all 12 tribes arranged in 4 groups of 3 and each group is related to a cherub. This is later seen with the 12 gates of the heavenly Jerusalem.
Let’s see these 3 groups of 4 listed in a table to see how they could be related with regard to the 4 compass points, the 4 cherubim, the 4 constellations and the 4 gospels…
- Matthew = Lion, Leo, Son of David, encamped in the East headed by Judah.
- Mark = Ox, Taurus, Servant Son, encamped in the West headed by Ephraim.
- Luke = Man, Aquarius, Son of Man, encamped in the South headed by Ruben.
- John = Eagle, Scorpio, Son of God, encamped in the North headed by Dan.
Scorpio may seem out of place, but the constellation has a scorpion and a serpent being crushed by a man wrestling with a serpent who was also pictured as an eagle called ‘Ophichus’. See the diagram above for details.
These in turn are related to the 4 species presented and held during the feast of tabernacles or Sukkot.
And ye shall take you on the first day
- the boughs < lit ‘fruit‘, peri, ืคึฐึผืจึดื > of goodly trees,
< literally ‘fruit of the glorious/splendid/majestic tree’ = etrog >
ืคึฐึผืจึดื ืขึตืฅ ืึธืึธืจ- branches of palm trees,
ืึทึผืคึนึผืช ืชึฐึผืึธืจึดืื- and the boughs of thick trees,
ืึทืขึฒื ึทืฃ ืขึตืฅึพืขึธืึนืช- and willows of the brook;
ืึฐืขึทืจึฐืึตืึพื ึธืึทืand ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.
Leviticus 23:40
Now there is another group of 4 that we could combine that would correspond to the other groups of four that have been mentioned. And that is the name of the Lord in Hebrew.
There are 4 letters in the ‘tetragramaton‘, the Lord’s name, ืืืื. If we want to put all these groups of 4 in one list it may help us in seeing how the 4 gospels point to the one sitting on the throne at the centre of the heavenly tabernacle, Yeshua who is ืืืื the Son.
The yod, ื, which looks like a seed would seem to equate to the ‘etrog‘ which is a fruit containing seed. Remember the ‘etrog‘ is the chosen fruit by Jewish tradition that is their choice for the ‘fruit of goodly trees‘. The following list is my guess with which gospel connects with the other letters, ื, ื ,ื, of the Lord’s name.
It is highly likely that there are errors in the following list in terms of which of the 4 species relate to which gospel. I am pretty sure John is related to the yod and the top of the door, but some of the others may be incorrectly assigned. But you get the idea. I have issues with who to put the bottom of the door and the vav with. On the one hand Judah should be the bottom of the door as the book of Matthew and Judah in particular are the last to receive the Kingdom of heaven. It is when they realise who Yeshua actually is, ืืืื, the son, and repent and mourn for Him that they can receive the Kingdom, Zechariah 12. Then the Lord fights for Jerusalem imbuing His people with supernatural power to destroy all their enemies. Their spiritual and physical captivity is ended. But because Ruben was at the south I thought that his encampment could also have the bottom of the door and the vav. It could be that this different 3-4 groupings can revolve independent of each other. Anyway here is my list…
- Matthew
– Son of David
– Lion
– Bottom of door
– willows of the brook
– ื , heh
– East
– Judah
– Leo - Mark
– Servant Son
– Ox
– Side of door
– Palm tree?
– ื , vav
– West
– Ephraim
– Taurus - Luke
– Son of Man
– Man
– Side of door
– boughs of thick trees
– ื , heh
– South
– Reuben
– Aquarius - John
– Son of God
– Eagle
– Top of door
– etrog
– ื , yod
– North

The main thing to get is that there is a reason that we have 4 cherubim and 4 species and 4 gospels because it is related to 4 groups of the seed of God’s people as well as 4 aspects of Yeshua. It is all about the promised restoration of the dominion of Adam’s fallen race and the ‘Israel of God’.
Another thing to note is that there is a grouping of 3 within the 4 that are more similar. For example the lion, ox and man cherubim are all land based while the eagle flies in the heavens. The first 3 synoptic gospels are similar while John stands aloof with a more heavenly birds eye view of Yeshua as the Son of God. John was closer to Yeshua’s heart, he was the disciple that Yeshua loved. Of the 4 letters of the tetragramaton, ืืืื, three letters are unique with the heh used twice. The yod, ื, looks like a seed and thus equates to the ‘etrog‘. It is the only letter that hangs in the air and would thus relate to the eagle and the book of John.
3 – 4 Pattern
There are other places where we see this 3 out of 4 pattern mentioned. In Amos it is used denote judgement on eight nations.
- Damascus,
- Gaza,
- Tyrus,
- Edom,
- Ammon,
- Moab,
- Judah,
- Israel
It uses the following formula…
“For three transgressions of _______ , and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof”
Amos 1:3, 1:6, 1:9, 1:11, 1:13, 2:1, 2:4, 2:6
Remember that the number 4 is about dominion and rulership. If a nation is disobedient then the Lord will judge them. So no wonder the 3-4 pattern is used.
In the book of proverbs chapter 30 the 3-4 pattern is used to group things. These groupings are all related to the end times and are somewhat mysterious. Analysing these groups of 3-4 would be worth another article by itself. In any case the little paragraphs start something like this…
“three things that ________ , yea, four“
Proverbs 30:15, 18, 21, 29
So we see the 3-4 pattern in a number of places in the scripture. We see it in the tribal encampments, the cherubim and we see it in the 4 gospels with 3 being synoptic or similar. And we also see it in judging the rulership of nations, and in mystical groupings prophetic significance . There is a correspondence between these different 3-4 pattern groups. The purpose of this little subheading is simply to note that the 3-4 pattern exists elsewhere is scripture.
3 & 4 link 7 & 12
I have already mentioned how the first 3 feasts are grouped together in the first month, and 3 in the seventh month and one in the middle. These relate to the 3 times the Israelites are to appear before the Lord. If we place them in sequence on the Menorah we can see the first 3 and the last 3 feasts on the curved shafts with the 4th feast on the central straight shaft. The central shaft or staff represents the masculine seed that rules with a rod of iron. This central shaft binds all the 6 curved shafts to itself. And so the central or 4th shaft binds the Menorah together, it is the ruler. And thus the 4th feast, Pentecost, binds all the other feasts to itself and unifies them as one.
We see the 3-4 pattern from either end of the menorah, 3 feasts to the right of the central shaft and 3 feasts to the left.
This same 3-4 pattern also is seen in the 7 churches in Revelation 2 and 3. The overcomers of Thyatira rule with a ‘rod of Iron‘ which equates to the manchild in Revelation 12, they are Yeshua’s brethren under him, the two little flocks of 144,000. The overcomers of Thyatira are the promised seed of the woman in Genesis 3 that shall crush satan’s head (under Yeshua who is their head).
So we see with the menorah and the 7 feasts and the 7 churches the same pattern from the 3 curved branches connecting to the central stem, 3 + 1 + 3 = 7. The central stem binds, unites and rules them.
Let’s look at another group of 7 with a possible 3-4 pattern within it. There are 7 seal judgements. The 4th seal is ‘death‘ with ‘hell following‘ it. Could this middle seal encapsulate the purpose of all 7 seal judgements including the first 3? All 7 seals ultimately bring death, except to those that escape it’s grasp. I wrote an article entitled ‘Keeping Covenant โ Opening the Fourth Seal‘ in which I showed that the blessings and curses are coming at the same time in the 4th seal. For many it is ‘death and hell‘, but to the remnant it is ‘life‘ in accordance to the blessings and curses in Deuteronomy 30:19. So in the 4th seal we see that it encapsulate the purpose of the first 3 seals, as I related in that article. So we see the 3-4 pattern in the 7 seal judgements. The choice of Life or Death in the blessings and the curses, remind us of the choice in the garden of Eden. The bible says that the ‘end‘ is in the ‘beginning‘, ‘beresheit‘, Isaiah 46:10.
So also 3 plus 4 equals 7. But we also see another pattern with the tribal encampments mentioned earlier with 4 groups of 3 which equals to 12, 4 x 3 = 12. Thus the numbers 3 and 4 relate to the number 7 and the number 12, one through addition and the other through multiplication. The Lord loves mathematics.
Conclusion
In this article I have shared some patterns with the numbers, 3, 4, 7 & 12 and their connection to the timing of things. The 3 synoptic gospels give us the ground view of what is happening on earth in the Olivet Discourse. John, the 4th gospel, gives us the heavenly perspective and is more related to the 144,000 firstfruits. The number 4 points to the one seated on the throne, Yeshua. There are 4 Compass Points, 4 Species, 4 Cherubim, 4 Gospels that all point to Yeshua. Yeshua and his people, and especially the 144,000 are the ‘seed of the Woman‘ that will have dominion over creation from North, South, East & West. 3 plus 4 equal 7. There are 7 churches, 7 feasts and 7 seals. The 4th feast like the 4th church link to the promised seed of the woman that will crush Satan’s head, this is Yeshua and the manchild company of 2 lots of 144,000. This birth will begin, as I understand it, during the 4th seal, ‘Death‘! The numbers 3 & 4 multiplied are associated with the 12 tribes. There is a resurrection and rapture coming before the travail and during it as described in Isaiah 66. Blessings are coming to a small remnant in a time of cursing. The Dragon, Satan will soon be cast out.
There appear to be at least 3 raptures into the heavens. And there is a earth based return for those left behind that survive until the return of the Lord for his last remnant that is upon the earth. 3 raptures and a return is the 3-4 pattern which we will delve into more depth in part 2 of this article. This first article adds some background so we can more deeply appreciate the harvests of barley, wheat and summer fruit which relate to the harvests of souls, plural raptures and a physical regathering called the 2nd exodus. The 144,000 are firstfruits, followed by the multitudes harvested during the tribulation. We will look at this in part 2 as we compare the 4 gospels and the letters to the 7 churches and other things.
That’s all for now, thank you for your time.
Shalom & Love in Yeshua
