Introduction, our Ascension & the State of our Heart

Yeshua ascended, but we are still down here. He Ascended 10 days before Pentecost which was 40 days after his resurrection on Firstfruits. God knows how to plan things well in advance, even from eternity. The Hebrew calendar was given to Israel many years before. The Passover Lamb pointed to the Lamb of God, Yeshua. The Exodus from Egypt pointed to a greater salvation in Yeshua and eventually a far greater end times 2nd exodus. God has it all under control, ticktock like a clock, the cogs of prophecy click into place, but when is it our turn? It’s Shavuot (Pentecost) on Monday 2nd June 2025 according to Rabbinic calculation (I calculate it slightly differently, but it will suffice to say it is near). Traditionally it is thought that Shavuot (Pentecost) was also the date Moses broke the tablets due to the golden calf. And it is also the date when the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) descended and the Church began. But when shall we receive the last days outpouring of the Holy Spirit spoken of by Joel? And when is the resurrection and rapture? Pentecost is one of 3 pilgrimage festivals where the males are to ascend to Zion and appear before the Lord, Exodus 23:17, 34:23 & Deuteronomy 16:16. This portends to 3 firstfruits raptures, because at each feast they are to bring their firstfruits, Unleavened Bread, Pentecost and Tabernacles. The heavenly and earthly are locked together. Joseph had two dreams, one of the heavenly sun, moon & stars and the other of earthly stacks of grain. Both are related to the Hebrew Calendar. The rapture and the 2nd Exodus are closely bound together. Most are not aware of the 2nd Exodus, and argue over timing of the rapture of being caught up to the clouds.

I Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up <Greek G726 ἁρπάζω, harpazo, rapture in Latin> together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The focus of this website blog is the identity of the ‘10 lost tribes of the House of Israel’. It details their future regathering from the nations and their joining with the remnant of believing Jews and the coming Kingdom of God upon the Earth. This identity of Israel and their regathering in faith during tribulation is a central part of prophecy that has been missed by most. Certainly it is missed by most of the gentile believers in the church by and large, and it is seen as irrelevant to their lives. Trifles of dates and timing of things and ‘Jewish Feasts’ seem like so much religious baggage and is put in the ‘back burner’ or ‘too hard basket’. Whether Jew or Gentile, we all have things to work through in our lives. There may be times when such prophetic matters can be shelved in order to deal with what the Holy Spirit is leading us into and helping us struggle with. But as we enter these end time prophetic days, these feast dates and their associated end times biblical events affect us all in various seismic ways, Jew or Gentile.

We are told in Daniel 12:9, that much of the end times prophecy is sealed until the time of the end. Well much is being revealed now. I am amazed at how much is being revealed to the Lord’s servants. I am also amazed at how little interest there is in the subject. The church for the most part does not want to know. To be honest, the church has had, at best, a very poor & simplistic grasp of prophecy. It has had a very poor understanding of the Torah. The Church has not understood the Torah’s prophetic nature and significance. Many Messianic folks who began in the Spirit are no longer listening to the Spirit, being content with a dead orthodoxy. So neither so called ‘Torah observant’ believers or regular church goers listen to the prophetic voice or understand much of the word of God, they have substituted fig leaves of religion for biblical truth or deep insight. And this is largely because on the one hand, the Church is more concerned with now and the imperative to save souls, which it should be focused on. But on the other hand, it is also infected by the leaven of lawlessness and the Spirit of Jezebel that kills the prophets and leads it into physical and spiritual adultery. The Israelite’s may have stoned the prophets but the church has stone walled them because it doesn’t want to listen to them much either. Like ancient Israel they prefer smooth things.

Isaiah 30:10
Which say to the seers,
See not; and to the prophets,
Prophesy not unto us right things,
speak unto us smooth things,
prophesy deceits:

So as I said, they stonewall the prophetic message of scripture. This is true for ‘Charismaniacs’ as well as more orthodox Baptists or Messianic groups. In their fear of looking into end time prophecy believers are actually hiding behind religion, from the living God! The Church which began at Pentecost has followed in the footsteps of ancient Israel who had their golden calf worship on Pentecost in the Wilderness when Moses was delayed. And like Jezebel of old the Church also prefers to listen to her 400 YouTube prophets of Baal rather than those that truly hear from the Lord. (And yes there are folks that truly hear from the Lord today, and few in comparison listen to them). Adam is still hiding with his self made fig leaf religion.

When believers are affluent their faith becomes dry, truth becomes a dead orthodoxy and they become worldly and forget God. When persecuted, they begin to shine. To its credit, the Church at it’s best, by and large, has been focused on heavenly things, the Kingdom of God within, and reaching people with the good news of Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus the Christ). And it has been praying for the Lord’s Kingdom to come. However it is ill equipped to bring that kingdom. It will be the job of the 144,000 to bring the Kingdom of Heaven down to earth because they have the right stuff to do it, and they are ready. This bringing down of the Kingdom to the earth is a role reserved for a remnant of bloodline descendants of Israel. The church gives birth to them, but they are separated from their mothers womb, like the Apostle Paul. They are of a different order, the are masculine in nature while the church is feminine in nature. The 144,000 are the Shewbread while the church is the Menorah, two different aspects of the word of God and Yeshua himself. One aspect is the bread that came from heaven and the other is the Light of the World.

The church’s focus has been skyward. So sadly, the church is not equipped to even think of such mundane and earthly things like a physical earthly regathering of Israel, and who Israel actually is, so it has not been the focus of the church (until the last 100 years or so). And if they do realise the importance of Israel, they can often fixate on the carnal. Currently we have a Zionist state that is a fulfilment of Zephaniah 2:1, a nation not regathered in faith. Currently Zephaniah 2 is being fulfilled concerning Gaza being forsaken. Israel has given the Palestinians every opportunity to live at peace, but they have used every opportunity to build tunnels and attack Jews. I therefore support the Jewish people as my brothers. But the nation does not acknowledge Yeshua and meanwhile the gentile world hates the Jewish people unfairly as they always have. Jew hatred lives on. The current state and Jerusalem in particular is a touchstone between God and the nations. The way the nations hate God is expressed in their hatred of the Jewish State. I support the Jewish State to defend themselves. I think Gaza deserves what has come upon them due to their hatred of the Jews and their despicable behaiviour, having used every opportunity for peace for the pretext to kill Jews. All the world media constantly berate the Jewish State. It isn’t perfect but it is far from being a pariah. Not many nations would put up with what they have had to endure from the Palestinians, their tunnels or their terror. And by extension Jerusalem has become a ‘burdensome stone’ to the nations and all that burden themselves with Jerusalem shall be broken, Zechariah 12:3. I support Jews building in Judea and Samaria and in East Jerusalem. However there is no repentance on a national level as yet towards God’s Son. So the current state of Israel shall experience judgement and will make an agreement with the Antichrist who comes in his own name, John 5:43. But a remnant of them will receive Yeshua and flee when Jerusalem is surrounded by armies.

In contrast when the Jewish state is walking in righteousness concerning the Torah and the One it points to, Yeshua, then peace will come.

Isaiah 2:3-4

And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

But this will require the fire of the tribulation to come upon the Jewish state and Jerusalem. But not upon them alone, but upon the rest of the Jews in America and the 10 lost tribes scattered there. Hence the 2nd Exodus pictured in Revelation 12 must come to pass. And a new Israel & Judah formed in the wilderness.

The church has thus swung between two extremes of either denying an earthly Israel or in a misplaced desire to build a temple for unbelieving Jews. What most Zionists overlook is the future regathering in faith of the remnant of believing Jews (Judah) and the 10 lost tribes (Israel). I am glad the Jews are in the land but I don’t have a blinding focus on the current secular Zionist state of Israel at the expense of the regathering under Yeshua. I know many messianic types will actually support the temple of the Antichrist in an unholy union with unbelieving Jews. So, don’t get me wrong, I support the right of the Jews in the land. The Jewish presence in the Holy Land will be secured, not through an agreement with Hell or via Freemasonry and the occult, but by faithfulness to Yeshua and His commandments. But my focus is the regathering of Israel & Judah in faith, and the coming Kingdom of Heaven, the Kingdom of Yeshua. And it is not far off. It is at the door. This regathering is after the ‘north country’ of Babylon America is destroyed through civil war & nuclear war. And there is a 3.5 year sojourn in the wilderness as Revelation 12 makes clear. This is a time when there is war in Heaven! What happens on earth is closely coupled with what is going on above.

In the end times, what is going on in heaven and earth cannot really be separated. Earthly and Heavenly regatherings are joined at Jacob’s hip. End times events bring these two extremes, heaven and earth together. There is a regathering in the clouds and a regathering to the wilderness in Revelation 12. How do these events relate to one another and when do they occur and it what sequence? This is a topic with much speculation, but what has become clear to me, is that the timings of these things are closely interlocked and the firstfruits go first! The 144,000 are taken first. But they may not be alone, as there may be a faithful remnant of others that is taken. Are these the ‘great multitude’ in Revelation 7:9 that are mentioned after the 144,000? Most rapture teachers teach that we all go up together, but that is not what I see in scripture. Scripture makes it clear that it depends on our obedience and watchfulness, Luke 21:36. It depends upon the state of our heart, Psalm 24:4. Not every believer in Yeshua is taken, but only those believers that are ready, that have clean hands and pure hearts, they are the ones that can ‘ascend’. We are being tested. Arguments for being taken before or during or after the tribulation can all be made from scripture to varying degrees. They could all be true. We see this in the letters to the 7 churches. In Revelation 2 we are told that that Smyrna will suffer 10 days, are to be faithful unto death. And those of Thyatira that commit adultery with Jezebel will go into great tribulation. Those of Philadelphia however will be kept from that hour of testing that comes upon the whole world. Lukewarm western Laodicia goes into the fire where their garments are made white, which is the tribulation. So my perspective is that it is more the state of our hearts that determine what happens to us, and what we have to endure, and what we are kept from. In any case the first that ascend appear to be the 144,000 and perhaps a ‘great multitude’. But the 144,000 are sent back down as His Servants to work the harvest as I have explained from scripture in countless articles including the previous one. The ‘manchild’ in Revelation 12 is the birth of the 144,000 who are like Yeshua the firstborn. Just to complicate things slightly, I think the 144,000 will ascend spiritually to receive heavenly gifts and continue the first part of their ministry in their mortal bodies. A future Pentecost could be a time for the 144,000 to receive their mandate. So I am watching. I believe they will be sealed and glorified with new bodies during the feast of Tabernacles. They will then fight for Zion, which is the church of the firstborn, this is the 2nd Exodus.

Getting back to the topic of heaven and earth, the gathering in the clouds is closely coupled to the events of Revelation and the 2nd Exodus pictured in Revelation 12. So to recap as I understand it, there are 3 times per year that every Israelite male was to come to the temple, during the 7 days of Unleavened Bread, on Pentecost and during Tabernacles, Exodus 34:22. These represent different raptures of different harvests of souls, different crops, Wheat, Barley & Summer Fruit. I have spoken often about this. There is a wedding going on in Heaven while Hell is being unleashed on earth.

The ‘old testament’ has much concealed regarding the teachings of the ‘new testament’ because the bible is one book with one author, Yeshua (though it contains many books from many authors, all inspired by the same Holy Spirit). In this blog today I want to share some powerful revelations on two partly identical Psalms and their meaning, one looks at the tribulation & 2nd Exodus from a heavenly perspective, Psalm 108, while the other is earthly, Psalm 60. This is the difference between those taken and those left behind as the tribulation takes hold. Or as I like to say, the easy way or the hard way! There is more hope if we listen to the Lord than if we block out the prophetic word. The Lord wants to save us, but we must cooperate. Safety is not through disobedience or wilful ignorance. There was a time when the Law of God was a strange thing to me. There was a time when I left prophecy to the experts. And sadly there was even a time that I hated reading the Psalms! We cannot see things if our hearts are messed up. We cannot begin to understand end times if there are skeletons in the closet. God reveals truth in the depths of our being, His secret is with those that fear Him, Psalm 25:14. I also want to briefly mention the glorified end time army in Psalm 68 that establishes a foothold upon the earth for the battle of conquest of our Lord.

Torah, Prophecy, Hiding from God & Forgiving God

Before I get into today’s topic, I want to share my heart with a personal testimony. You can skip this if you want the ‘meat & potatoes’ in the next section.

The bible is full of deep treasure, but deep treasure has to be dug for. And we have to have the desire to dig, and persevere until we strike gold for he who seeks, finds, Matthew 7:7. There is much encoded in His Word, not too far from the surface, we just have to have the faith and eyes to see it and the heart to search it out. Many believer’s don’t want to look too deep. This world is pretty hostile for our hearts. And it is much easier to switch off than to dig into God and His Word when it comes to the end times. Many Christians don’t want the truth, they want a fairy tale, they actually fear end times truth. There is hope but they don’t want to search the scriptures for it, but instead they cling to a falsehood or a half truth at best, remember Isaiah 30:10 quoted earlier. This lack of desire for the actual prophetic truth is an epidemic in God’s house. And this at the very time we need to know! The Lord wants His people to be equipped with the whole truth and to trust in Him. But most prefer to stick their heads in the sand. The bible is prophecy. It is about Yeshua. And it is about us. Most don’t want too much of the prophetic word, because they can’t handle end times, they find it depressing. However I find it exciting. Why is that? Why the difference in attitude? Like horses with blinders one, most people are solely focused on what is straight before them. I get that, I am a guy also, and I like to get things done. But most don’t factor in the coming Kingdom and the disruption of the end times. Most people are trying to keep on going and keep their dreams alive. But what are God’s dreams? Are our wills and dreams in line with His? Are we looking forward to His Kingdom, or is our life unyielding or partially yielded to the Lord? If we are in line with the Kingdom of God then it shouldn’t matter what happens down here so long as God’s will is done in our life. This is why many don’t want to know about prophecy. They are living their ‘best life now’, they are actually living for self. Many believers in the west especially, are like Adam, hiding from God with religious fig leaves on. These might be christian fig leaves or Messianic Hebrew roots fig leaves, but most don’t want to hear the ‘voice of prophecy’, the voice of the Lord calling in the garden, “Adam where are you?”. Their hearts are not completely yielded, their lives are not completely yielded. They don’t want a nightmare while they are trying to live their smiley Joel Osteen mantra or simply survive. They may be living the dream or a nightmare, but they are not fully yielded. No matter how good or how crumby our lives may be, the Lord wants a yielded heart that wants to hear his voice. We can sing ‘the Old rugged cross’ and have a good time without really being broken. I know because I have complained in the wilderness far too long myself. Carrying a cross and dying to self goes against the grain. It hurts to be in the wilderness by ourselves. But if we are truly to live a spiritual Kingdom focussed life we have to die to our fantasies of what we think life should be. If we are to follow Yeshua and truly be His disciples we must hate our life, Luke 14:26, in the sense of letting go of our unyielded hopes, dreams and desires. We must take up our cross if we want to be His disciple, Matthew 16:24, Mark 8:34, Luke 9:23. We have all heard these words before but do we live it? I left most of my dreams behind years ago. Now I submit my hopes and dreams to the Lord but I put the Lord’s Kingdom first. I am looking forward to the Kingdom of God my Father and the return of the King of Heaven, Yeshua. My eyes are on heavenly things, and so I am hooked on His Word and Prophecy. My soul draws hope and strength from the scriptures, no matter what the subject. The ‘voice of prophecy’ is my friend, not my enemy. I am in ‘boots and all’. My great battle is with the indifference and even hostility of many believers to the prophetic word. That gets me down. I don’t claim to be right in everything I say, especially when it comes to timelines, which are pretty much all speculation. But I love the word of God. And the study of prophecy is a joy. And by studying it I have a far clearer view of what is coming and what will be expected of me and what my hope really is.

As I stated earlier, our hearts can take a beating. I am still pressing through my hurt. Hurt through unmet expectations for my life, my walk with God and Church hurt including Messianic hurt. I have stumbled badly at times. In my hurt and folly I have blamed the Lord in my heart, for the ignorant attitude amongst so many believers when it comes to studying end times. But I can’t let go of what the Lord reveals to me through His word. With wisdom comes sorrow for sure, but it is worth it. But I have found that my heart still gets hurt and bent out of shape very easily. And unless I am continually yielded and keep tight with my Father in Heaven, I am tempted to blame Him for the attitudes of others. It is like kicking the cat when the dog bites you. So I have moaned and complained instead of worshipped. The battlefield of the Universe is our heart. Every thought must be taken captive to the obedience of Messiah Yeshua, II Corinthians 10:5. And we will get bruised, but Yeshua is with us in our bruising, he is bruised too, Genesis 3:15. When feeling hurt we must battle in prayer to get the victory in our hearts and not blame God. Our hurt goes back, not just to our experiences but to our first father. When Adam ate of the forbidden fruit, he blamed God for giving him a wife that gave him the fruit. Satan gets us to misdirect the blame on others or upon God. Yes God gave Adam his wife, but he also clearly commanded him what to do, and Adam disobeyed. Satan laughs at us when we get bent out of shape. We must not let a root of bitterness develop. Like Joseph in prison, we are going to be hurt in this world, especially if God gives us revelation that threatens the Kingdom of Darkness. And if we don’t forgive others, or in my case God himself, then we will then hurt others ourselves, because we develop a calloused heart. We dare not pass our hurt on to others. We must seek the Father and trust in Him and leave our complaint with Him. We need to be thankful also, thankful for the little things, even if our trials grind on. Abraham had to wait until he was 100 before he got his promised son. We too must persevere in faith. It’s hard, it is ‘hard work’ because it is ‘heart work’. That is why King David and others wrote the Psalms. It takes a dedicated and broken and contrite heart if we are truly to keep Torah, and keep the faith via the promises of His word and the New Covenant in Yeshua’s blood. The comforter was given to us for a reason. Our hearts get hurt. We need to seek the Lord in it all.

I turned to the Lord when I was 18 years of age, I came from a non christian atheistic background. Indeed back then my father was a communist! Sadly after 7 or 8 years I turned away from the Lord as I couldn’t see Him in my life. I felt that the Lord wasn’t in my life. It was another 7 or 8 years later that I turned back to the Lord and had a strong desire to learn Hebrew. I bought some books, and every time I went to study I had to fight falling asleep. It was demonic. I pushed through and began to read the bible slowly in Hebrew. At the same time my life and business fell apart and I lost most of what I had. I went on my second visit to Israel for half a year. When I returned I continued studying the Torah in Hebrew and then left New Zealand and went to Australia and have been here ever since. As I studied Torah, I got bitter because nobody in the church was interested. Sadly here in Australia, not much has changed. Even more sadly, I got so discouraged with my social and spiritual isolation, that I couldn’t talk to God. In fact I was angry with Him! And even though the Ruach HaKodesh was opening treasure from the Torah, revelations from heaven, I couldn’t talk to the Lord and I hated the Psalms. My heart was a mess, even though I was gaining knowledge. Now I love the Psalms, by the way. I still struggle with intimacy with the Lord however. My wife is more heart oriented by nature and she is a woman after God’s own heart. I tend to be all in my head by nature. Thinking is my happy place. But we need to give God our hearts, Proverbs 22:26. My temptation has been to blame God for what Satan and other people do. It has been a long and lonely sojourn in a dry and thirsty land. But I press on to win the prize of the high calling of God in Yeshua, Philippians 3:14.

I know that we all have different giftings and leanings but I believe if you truly have a heart for the Lord, then the study of end times prophecy should be a joy because you are seeing the world through Yeshua’s eyes. If your Kingdom minded then you want to know His Plan. We know that “where your treasure is, there your heart is also”, Matthew 6:21, Luke 12:34. Many believing hearts are half in the world or bent out of shape in many ways. There is brokenness in the most respectable of folks, not only amongst drug addicts or prostitutes, but business people and others that seem to have it all together. Yeshua came to heal our brokenness. A time of testing is coming and hearts will be revealed. Let us open up our hearts to God and get real while we can. “Seek the Lord while He may be found, call ye upon him while he is near”, Isaiah 55:6.

God has done nothing wrong, but He allows trials to come. He is the One that will bring us through.

With broken and contrite hearts trusting in Yeshua, let us now look at these two Psalms…

Psalm 60 & 108 Overview & Comparison

Ok, let’s get into it. Both Psalms 60 & 108 are listed side by side at the end of the article. The first 4 or 5 verses of Psalm 60 & 108 differ dramatically, they are in fact opposite in many ways. The rest of the Psalms are identical. Psalm 60:1-5 is earthly and concerns earthquakes, tribulation & astonishment while Psalm 108:1-5 is heavenly and is about praise, worship and glory. The rest of the Psalms are nearly identical and concern the triumph of a united Israel & Judah over their enemies, including Edom. So we can infer from these dramatic differences at the beginning of each Psalm that there will be a group of believers that are called and gathered to the heavenlies. At the same time there will be many others remaining of Israel that have to endure the suffering of tribulation on earth. Rapture does not happen for everyone, but is selective. (In other places in scripture there are hints that some will be raptured only to be cast out of the wedding because they have no wedding garments, but that is another topic, Matthew 22:1-14. Overcomers of rich luke warm Laodicea need white garments, which are gotten through fiery trials of tribulation.) So who goes up and when? It’s all about the state of our heart as discussed earlier. We know that the 144,000 are firstfruits according to Revelation 14:4. So firstfruits go up first. In Revelation 7 we see a ‘great multitude’ in heaven after the 144,000 are sealed. So the first part of Psalm 108 fits in with the wedding and events in heaven for a portion of humanity while the first part of Psalm 60 deals with what is happening below during the severe dislocation of the Antichrist and the onset of the tribulation birthpangs (Matthew 24, Revelation 6 Seals).

Psalm 60 & 108 Differences

Now with that overview and comparison let’s look at the differences in the first part of both Psalms in a little more detail.

Psalm 60 – Earthly Destruction

1  To the chief Musician upon Shushaneduth, Michtam of David, to teach; when he strove with Aramnaharaim and with Aramzobah, when Joab returned, and smote of Edom in the valley of salt twelve thousand.

O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.

2  Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.

3  Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.

4  Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.

Let’s look at it verse by verse.

The first thing to note in verse 1 is that it is a Psalm of David, the warrior King. And verse 1 alerts us to war in the past in David’s day with ‘Edom’ and portends to the final showdown between Jacob and Esau (Israel & Edom) in the end times as we see towards the end of the Psalm. It was written during warfare with Edom, and Joab, as David’s right hand man was instrumental in the defeat of Edom. Joab & David were pals from childhood. Ironically Joab was actually a descendant of Edom yet fought for Israel and King David. So it is today, there are folks from Edom that love the Lord. And they can be very effective in fighting the good fight of faith. It is always about our hearts. God can take what is bad within us and turn it to good. We are a new creation in Yeshua, 2 Corinthians 5:17. Many Edomites are actually Christians along with many from the 10 lost tribes of the house of Israel and those believers amongst the House of Judah (Jews). Both Edom (Esau) and Jacob are in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK. There are some Edomites amongst the Jews also, just to make it interesting. The number 12,000 is mentioned which reminds me of the 144,000 from each of the 12 tribes. David subdued Edom. Today the descendants of Edom are in the west (not Arabs like most Christians assume). Edom is with Jacob in the christian nations. The birth of the Kingdom will necessitate the destruction of the nation of Edom, before Jacob can gain dominion. Read Obadiah, just one chapter, it’s all about this final confrontation with Edom.

The ‘valley of salt’ is mentioned. If we lose our salt then we are to be cast on the street and trampled of men, Matthew 5:13. Every sacrifice is to be seasoned with salt. The cities of Sodom & Gomorrah we turned to salt. Does this indicate the time period we are in where the world has become infected with LGBTQ xyz sickness & legislated wickedness and abominations?

This Psalm should have been about glorying in the Lord for the great victories just won. But oddly although David had just won a great victory which is told us in 2 Samuel 8:13-14, he is meditating on great catastrophes! In verse 1 the Psalmist, King David tells us that Israel is scattered because God is displeased. This does not make sense because it we were told that the Psalm is just after David had gained victory over Syria (Aram) and Edom via Joab. This clues us in that David is prophesying of the future. In David’s day the House of Judah & Israel were united and still both in the land. But he says that ‘thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us’, that is, Israel will be scattered in the future! This is Israel’s current condition because large numbers of Israel & Judah are currently in the USA. About half of world Jewry reside in the State of Israel but the other half are still mostly in the USA. And all of the 10 northern tribes of the House of Israel are still scattered, many of them still in the USA also. But not for too much longer, the 2nd Exodus is coming. And this is what this Psalm is ultimately about, and the final war with Edom etc. This 2nd Exodus will occur during a future scattering of Babylon America according to Jeremiah 50 as I outlined in the previous article. So if the Lord is unhappy with us then we will be scattered but if He is happy with us then He will regather us back to our land (Israel). But this regathering will not occur until Israel asks the Lord to ‘turn thyself to us again’.Psalm 60 is prophesying and telling that we will be collectively beseeching God to turn towards us again. Already Psalm 60 is vastly different from the heavenly joy depicted in Psalm 108 that we will look at shortly.

But if there is still doubt that this Psalm is prohesying about a future scattering let’s go on to verse 2. The earth has begun to ‘tremble’. Again this is not in David’s day. When the earth begins to tremble and shake and moan, that is the beginning of the birthpangs of the Kingdom. This ties in with the signs of the Lord’s coming, the ‘earthquakes, in diverse places’ mentioned in Matthew 24:7, Mark 13:8 and Luke 21:11.

Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

As stated often before, this is the period of the 4 Horsemen in Revelation 6 and connects many old testament prophecies. Isaiah 24 talks about the earthquakes, as does Haggai chapter 2. Famine is mentioned in Isaiah 17, when Damascus is destroyed. This stuff will be on the news very soon I suspect. Famines and pestilences are part of the curses in Leviticus 26:25-26. The Lord means what He says. This is when ‘Jacob is made thin’, and the destruction of Damascus is linked to Jacob in this way. Read Isaiah 17 if you want to know when famine comes to the west and America and Australia etc in particular. This is at the door. Also, the fortress shall depart from Ephraim we are told, so Fortress America will be broken down, because Ephraim’s empire of sin is crashing down around him in America. Read Isaiah 17 in detail, because when you see Damascus totally destroyed, you know that trouble is coming to America and wherever else Ephraim and the 10 lost tribes are scattered. Famine is coming to Jacob because God is judging his wickedness according to the curses of the Torah. Our stores of tins of beans need to be matched by our righteousness otherwise our provisions will not save us. If we are poor but tremble at God’s word there is hope. Anyway the destruction of Damascus also heralds when Jacob’s descendants will be eating the flesh of their own arm and each other in famine! See Isaiah 9:20-21 and Jeremiah 19:9. People will be fighting over each other’s babies to eat during the time of famine, 2 Kings 6:28. This is part of the curses of the Torah being rolled out before the remnant is regathered, Leviticus 26:29, Deuteronomy 28:48. It will be in the context of the ‘Zombie Apocalypse’ about the time of the resurrection of the righteous and wicked dead in Daniel 12:2, which is when Satan is cast out of heaven and the 2nd Exodus occurs, See Revelation 12 and compare to Daniel 12. Psalm 27:2 will be literal as well as figurative. Something to ‘chew on’ if you think the tribulation is a walk in the park.

Verse 3 tells us that ‘Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.’ This fits in with the events in Matthew 24:7 above, see also Mark 13 and Luke 21. We have been told in advance that there is a shaking coming, but most believers are not prepared in their hearts for what is coming and what is everywhere in the scriptures told to our faces. The Lord knows how to protect those that truly fear Him and trust in Him, especially those that are poor. But many that say they believe are actually proud, self willed and unbroken. I know because God is still working on me! The Tribulation is going to shock! It’s hard to be mentally prepared with your head in the sand, trusting in your feel good preachers instead of reading your bible. I find the scriptures fit together beautifully. But for most it will be the mother of all shocks, with every man with his head between his loins, Jeremiah 30:6. Why does God allow it? Because He is trying to wake people up to true repentance that could wake up no other way. And while He is doing this He is bringing in judgement and death to others because He will not strive with man forever, Genesis 6:3. It is at the door. But there is hope as the next verse makes clear.

In verse 4 we are comforted and told that ‘Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth.’ This reminds us to the verses in Isaiah that talk about the banner or ensign to the nations, when the Lord brings back the captivity of Israel & Judah in the last days (not the modern ‘State of Israel’, but a reunited nation of faith in Yeshua made up of believing Jews (Judah) and Israel (10 lost tribes). The word translated ‘banner’, נס, nes, is also translated ‘ensign’ or ‘standard’. It is used in varying contexts as a sign of judgement and sometimes as comfort. Here the context is comfort for those that ‘fear thee’. The context of the Psalm is actually the 2nd exodus as will be obvious in the following verses of the Psalm. But lets look at this ‘banner’ or standard in Isaiah.

Isaiah 49:22 Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.

This is the physical regathering of faith of Israel & Judah. This regathering will get the attention of the Gentiles. It is not the current state of Israel, but the children of Israel regathered in faith during the tribulation. This 2nd Exodus is the ‘standard’, the ‘banner’, the ‘ensign’ that will be taken note of by the nations. It comes after Babylon America and it’s daughters like Australia are judged. It comes with the assistance of the 144,000 who are the ‘servants of the Lord’ in Revelation 7:3 and spoken of in Isaiah 42 and 49 as described in the previous article (The servant is Yeshua, but also the 144,000 under Him in the end time regathering). Isaiah 62 also restates this event with other details and uses the same word translated ‘standard’ stating ‘lift up a standard for the people’.

Isaiah 62:10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

The standard will be lifted up at the time of Babylon America’s destruction. I believe this is very near. It’s already starting to wobble with civil unrest.

Jeremiah 51:12 Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the LORD hath both devised and done that which he spake against the inhabitants of Babylon.

So hang on to your seats, the show will begin soon, but the Lord has a remnant that He will bring through the coming chaos. The Lord will raise up His children very soon for ‘signs and wonders’.

Isaiah 8:18 Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

This is both the first set of 144,000 (Adults, spiritual virgins, the Revelation 7:3 ‘servants of God’ to bring in the harvest) and a second set which may actually be children (physical virgins as well as spiritual) with supernatural abilities. The fist set are related to the barley harvest firstfruits and the 2nd set of 144,000 related to the Wheat harvest. The first set of 144,000 Adults will help protect the remnant of Zion and the 2nd set of 144,000, the ‘children’ who have been given supernatural gifts. The government of Babylon will try to abduct or kill the children before they can become a threat to their Antichrist AI empowered beast system that will be taking over the world that has just been devastated by world war 3. God is setting up Zion at the same time as Satan is setting up his Beast System. America is the sacrificial cow to bring both to pass. Both America and the modern state of Israel are part of the Chaldean Babylon occultists system. After Babylon America is destroyed with nuclear devestation, the final Babylon system will be set up in land of Shinar, Iraq as per Zechariah 5. The believing Jews in Jerusalem will have to leave when the Antichrist sets up the abomination of desolation. Sadly many Christians and Messianics are going to be clapping for the Antichrist temple when they should be heading for the wilderness before their cities are engulfed in nuclear flames. The Lord will set up a temple at His return but the one that the Antichrist resides in is erected in disobedience to the person and work of Yeshua. Not many Zionist Christians or Jews want to hear this but Yeshua’s Kingdom is what counts, not mans Babylonian Spiritual counterfeit. Many messianic folks assume the America will be in the drivers seat for the foreseeable future. They are not foreseeing much at all as judgement has already been here since Covid. America should have repented at 9-11, instead people went to church for a few weeks and lit candles. Judgement is here and it’s already getting harder to get by. Also here in Australia judgements are coming thick and fast and nobody is joining the dots. The church hates true prophecy by and large, they refuse to hear.

That is the end of the first part of Psalm 60 which is earthly and about judgements falling upon the earth and the people of God and Israelites in particular. The rest of the verses are the same as the second half of Psalm 108. So let’s look at the first parts of Psalm 108 for the astounding heavenly contrast to what we have just read in Psalm 60. This will be far more obvious when you notice that both Psalms are identical after these first 5 verses.

Psalm 108 – Heavenly Praise

1  A Song or Psalm of David.

O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

2  Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

3  I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

4  For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.

5  Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;

Like Psalm 60, verse 1 tells us that Psalm 108 is also a Psalm of David. But instead of concentrating on the war aspect of David, we are introduced to the worship aspect of David’s heart. Psalm 108’s tone is overall heavenly and triumphant throughout.

As a little interlude that sheds light as to why the folks in Psalm 108 are singing on ‘easy street’ in the heavenly Jerusalem, you will find that verses 1 to 5 are actually also the verses of Psalm 57:7-11. They are Identical! Psalm 57 tells us why they are singing up there. Like Psalm 60, Psalm 57 concentrates on the evil that is occurring on the earth but then mentions these same 5 verses in Psalm 108 that are about heavenly joy and glory. You see for those in Psalm 108 to have the heavenly song they had to overcome something themselves. They have endured their own mini tribulation while the rest were having it easy. In order for those overcomers in Psalm 57 to experience the heavenly Song, they must endure the hatred and reproach from the wicked Lions of Psalm 57. Read the Psalm and you will see. But Psalm 57 is full of hope and they see the Lord defend them as they push through all their hardships at the hands of the wicked. So they experience hardship first, like the apostles of old suffered more than the regular troops of believers, and then they experience rapture and glorification while the main body of the church that still remains on earth experiences hardship.

Getting back to the heavenly Psalm 108, what a contrast to the crazy, awful stuff that we just read in Psalm 60! Psalm 60 is looking at the earth, while Psalm 108 looks above ‘the clouds’, it concentrates on God’s ‘glory above all the earth’. Notice that the ‘heavens’ are mentioned twice in verse 4 & 5! This is prophetic of two different experiences, from those that experience ‘hard things’ on earth in Psalm 60 while others are praising the Lord in Heaven with their ‘glory’! Have they been ‘glorified’? Are they in their resurrection bodies? Whatever the case, they are not feeling miserable! They obviously have something to praise the Lord about. These two Psalms are dealing with the same events of the regathering but the experiences are completely opposite!

Psalm 108 is the experience of the firstfruits that are taken before the main harvest (Psalm 57 points to them also). The harvest begins with the Barley wave sheaf at firstfruits, on the day after the sabbath, Leviticus 23:10-14. We are told in Joshua 3:15 that the ‘Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest’. Jordan represents death. And it is also the place of rebirth as I stated in the previous article. And so death begins in earnest during the harvest period. Souls are saved during harvest. But it is also a time of much ‘death’, the ‘shadow of death’ and the ‘angel of death’, the 4th horseman. This will include famine due to war, invasion, failed harvests and of course, government and civil treachery (the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously, Isaiah 24:16). Pestilence will be running rampant. Earthquakes will be going off the charts. The 144,000 will be taken then (they will be sealed during the feast of Tabernacles as I have also elaborated in previous articles. In Revelation 7 we read that the 144,000 are being sealed and are amongst a great multitude that have come out of great tribulation. So they are firstfruits amongst the main harvest so to speak. Are those in heaven raptured or killed? We shall see. I believe the 144,000 are raptured, but they won’t be alone in being raptured, there will no doubt be others that qualify. Who ascends? Those with ‘clean hands and a pure heart’! Psalm 24:4. Of course this is only believers in Yeshua, But it is only those believers with clean hands and a pure heart. They are living godly.

Psalm 60 & 108 Similarities

From verse 6 to 13, Psalm 108 matches Psalm 60:5-12. It is all about the Lord and Israel triumphing over the nations. Edom is the final nation for Jacob and the Lord to triumph over. And so the great transfer of the birthright and blessing from Jacob to Esau is complete, Genesis 27:36 and the Kingdom is the Lord’s, Obadiah 1:21. This is through the power of God. Yeshua with His glorified 144,000, pictured as the ‘polished shaft’ in Isaiah 49 will lead the charge and the rest of the remnant of Jacob shall follow. It will be very supernatural. It will be like the superhero movies. It will be out of this world. And it is coming soon. Hold on!

5  That thy beloved may be delivered;
save with thy right hand, and hear me.

6  God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

7  Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine;
Ephraim also is the strength of mine head;
Judah is my lawgiver;

8  Moab is my washpot;
over Edom will I cast out my shoe:
Philistia, triumph thou because of me.

9  Who will bring me into the strong city?
who will lead me into Edom?

10  Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off?
and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?

11  Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

12  Through God we shall do valiantly:
for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

Although both Psalms 60 and 108 are both prophetic of the same future regathering of Israel, they get there by two different experiences. One goes through earthly hard things, while the other escapes those particular trials, and is praising God in the heavens. I know which perspective and experience I would rather go through. Psalm 108 wins my vote. However the consolation prize is that the remnant that endures through and survives the judgement in Psalm 60 gets to experience the same triumph of a regathered Israel and Judah in these last days, it’s just a more painful journey.

Psalm 68 Ascension, Gifts & Thousands of ‘Changed Ones’

The prayer of the Church these past 2000 years for the Kingdom of God to come and His will to be done on earth is about to be answered in the most dramatic of ways. Far more gloriously than any far out Sci-Fi adventure like Star Wars. This is an invasion of Heaven on Earth that will vanquish the empire of Satan. Like any war of invasion there has to be an assembly point, whether it be the Jezreel valley or the beaches of Normandy. When Heaven invades this earth it is no different. There is a build up of heavenly forces upon a very well known and ancient Mountain. Leading up to this invasion, according to Psalm 48, the Heavenly Jerusalem will be visible in the sky and the kings of the earth will tremble & mourn. Although it will not touch down on earth until the renovation of the heavens and the earth at the end of the Millennial reign of Christ, it will be visible. Psalm 48 is about the heavenly Jerusalem, not the earthly one! Far, far bigger than a space station, hovering majestically in immense majesty and power, the bad guys will be put on notice. From this heavenly Star, the real Star Wars will commence in earnest as the Kingdom of Heaven shoots forth her legions of troops in chariots and battle armour. Equipped with shields, helmets, battle armour and something like light sabres, the 144,000 and the angels of the Lord are among the Lord’s weapons of His indignation. They have the high ground, they own the skies, they have the upper hand as the Lord’s instruments in His furious campaign of deadly force and righteous revenge. Yes the Lord our God is coming to this earth in vengeance upon the wicked, Psalms 79:10, Psalms 99:8, Isaiah 61:2, Jeremiah 50:28, Romans 3:5, II Thessalonians 1:8. This vengeance will be upon the head of the nephilim beast kingdom of Satan. He is establishing the Kingdom of God on earth in answer to our prayers, Matthew 6:9, Luke 11:2. It is like D-Day in Europe, the Lord has His troops and He establishes a beach-head, but this time high up upon a mountain top!

I was going to write a separate article but I want to share some end time insights on Psalm 68. Many of the Psalms are prophecy. Psalm 68 is not just looking at the Exodus in Egypt, it is prophetically depicting the setting up of the Lord Yeshua’s base camp in Mt Sinai at His 2nd Coming. Go read it and come back to this article if you will and then come and look at it with ‘end times eyes’! You see before He touches down on the Mt of Olives, the Lord is going to bring his believing remnant of Judah and Israel to the wilderness of Saudi Arabia and the real Mt Sinai specifically. He will also go to Bozrah to deal with Edom, He will be on a His terrible war campaign of the liquidation of His enemies. Step by step. None of them shall escape! Now one of these places is Mt Sinai, where His people are encamped once more, as in ancient times, having left the USA and elsewhere. Let’s look at a verse halfway through the Psalm that we may all be aware of. We may have read the following verse but do we really understand it?

Psalms 68:17(18)
The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels:
the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.
רֶכֶב אֱלֹהִים רִבֹּתַיִם אַלְפֵי שִׁנְאָן אֲדֹנָי בָם סִינַי בַּקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃

This is the 2nd Coming. This is conquest! This is prophecy! And we shall be part of the drama, whether on earth or upon the earth. Do you really think that Satanist paedophiles and their demonic armies will rule the world forever? No! And to underline the fact that this is talking about the 2nd Exodus and the 2nd coming let’s get technical. You see, the ‘angels’ mentioned in this Psalm in verse 17 are not angels, מַּלְאָכִים, malachim! The word translated ‘angels’ are not angels, they are ‘changed ones’, שִׁנְאָן, shinaan! If it were angels it would say angels, the Hebrew word for angel is מַלְאַךְ, melach, the plural is מַּלְאָכִים, malachim, but this word שִׁנְאָן, shinaan is telling us a whole different story, and from my point of view a more exiting one. Let’s unpack a word and thus a whole bigger picture and a far deeper revelation.

The strongs number for shinaan is H08136 from H08132,

Strongs: H08132שׁנא

shaw-naw
A primitive root; to alter: – change.

Let’s look how this root is used.

II Kings 25:29 And changed <שׁנא> his prison garments: and he did eat bread continually before him all the days of his life.

Ecclesiastes 8:1 Who is as the wise man? and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? a man’s wisdom maketh his face to shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed <שׁנא>.

From these two verses we see that the word is related to our garments being changed and the ‘boldness’ of our ‘face changed’ because of wisdom. Remember in Daniel 12:3 we are told that those that are wise shall shine! Remember Moses coming down the mountain and His face shining, , this is a taste of what was to come. This is the blessing in Numbers 6:25. This is why we shall be like Him when we see Him. We receive the blessing of Numbers 6:25, we shall see Him as He is and thus be changed. I John 3:2. This is that near future time spoken of in Psalm 68. Do you see now how the natural regathering at the 2nd Exodus and our being changed are related? We know that we shall be ‘changed’ at the last trump.

I Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

In Psalm 68 the Lord is on Mount Sinai with thousands of His ‘changed ones’. Not ‘angels’, but us! Glorified soldier saints. And the first of those to be changed are the firstfruits, which are the 144,000 that will ‘hold the fort’ and battle for the kingdom of light until the bride has made herself ready -after her sojourn in the wilderness for 3.5 years. She is Zion and she is safely gathered to the wilderness with the aid of the 144,000. Meanwhile the Nephilim Antichrist beast system has been raging it’s war upon the human race. (If you are not raptured with the firstfruits, you really want to be on the 2nd Exodus!)

Now we come to the next verse of Psalm 68, which is quoted in Ephesians 4:8. Pentecost is all about this time period, a time of gifts to His beloved wife to be, after His ascension.

Psalms 68:18(19)
Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.

Ephesians is about our heavenly inheritance and spiritual warfare. We in the body of Messiah have been given spiritual gifts. These gifts were given and Messiah’s Ascension according to this verse. But what we have at present is going to be multiplied greatly in these end times, because we will need it. We are told in Isaiah 59:19 ‘When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. That ‘standard’ is the 144,000 and the gifts of the Holy Spirit to all the body of Messiah. So at the exact time that the Antichrist begins His rise to power, the people of God shall also be greatly aided with gifts of the Spirit, so as to endure and also bear witness to our Lord. And the 144,000 will be in action to bring about the 2nd Exodus with this same Holy Spirit power. At the golden calf we lost our ‘ornaments’, עדי, Exodus 33:5, which also includes our spiritual gifts and weaponry (and portend ultimately to our garments of light, our future resurrection bodies). At a future Pentecost we regain them. Finally we will arrive at Mt Sinai once more with these gifts and without the golden calf! Some are have just the supernatural giftings while others have that and their glorified spiritual bodies of light. All will be shining to some degree. It will be awesome. The kingdom of Heaven is coming down to take over the earth – FOREVER!

Speculation

Here is some speculation for today. Could it be that even during this coming Pentecost, the power of the Holy Spirit will come to the Lord’s battle weary soldiers of faith? If not now, then certainly when we will need it. I am worn down now. I am hanging in there by God’s grace. It can’t be too much longer, I am looking at world events and it looks like a ton of dynamite fused and ready to blow. I believe that the Antichrist will rise during a time of war. And it looks like world leaders, especially those in Europe have decided to light the fuse with Russia by authorising Ukraine to fire western missiles deep into Russian territory, a ‘red line’ for Russia! Russia won’t put up with another Stalingrad. I believe their mad plan is to bring the chaos that will force the survivors into their AI empowered Nephilim beast system that is about to take hold as the smoke of World War 3 settles. So we could be entering a time of extreme danger and increasing death this year if that begins to occur this year. I am not prophesying, just speculating, I have been wrong before when it comes to specific timing. Somehow the Lord in mercy has kept us from that hour of judgement, but it can’t be far off. I do believe that nukes will go off during a future Pentecost according to Joel 2:30-31. Is it now or is it next year or later or both? I suspect that the USA will have civil war and invasion very soon. We are living in a world that could change very rapidly at any moment. The WHO, World Health Organisation, has just gotten a majority of nations to agree on their vaccination agenda, so something is going to be unleashed in the plague department very soon. There will be forced vaccinations at some point as the nukes go off or beforehand. Perhaps what has been already injected is about to be triggered, perhaps by 5G or nuclear radiation. If it doesn’t happen now it is being set up. Hopefully my readers are awake to the times we are living in. Sudden destruction could come at any moment. We need to be focused on the Lord not the waves of course.

I believe that the seals have been opening since Covid, and that there are 2 lots of 7 years. Just like Pharaoh’s dream of 7 good years followed by 7 evil years or Jacob working for Lea and Rachel for 7 years each. According to this theory, we are about 1.5 years from the end of the first 7 (good) years. If I have opportunity I will present my timelines in a future article. I think in the next 1.5 years we are going to seriously come into the events of Revelation 6, and the 4 horsemen galloping hard with Matthew 24’s wars, famines, pestilence, persecution and earthquakes leading to the 2nd Exodus and 2nd coming. We will see the break up of the USA with civil war and invasion as the Antichrist rises leading to the 2nd Exodus. Once the 2nd Exodus occurs, the beast system takes over the nations, while believing Israel & Judah are safe in the Wilderness. From Mt Sinai, the Lord assembles His army and makes war upon the Kingdom of the Beast.

Conclusion

God is in control. And He will regather Israel & Judah very soon. He is told us through Psalm 108 that there is a heavenly way to go. And He has warned us through Psalm 60 that there is a far more painful way here on earth for those sleeping. Sadly most of those that are to be regathered are not ready for the 1st Class ticket to the heavens that Psalm 108 foreshadows, but rather they must endure ‘hard things’ as Psalm 60 plainly tells us. We are told in Zephaniah 2:2-3 that we should ‘seek meekness’ (humility) and it may be that we shall be ‘hidden’ in the ‘day of the Lord’s anger’. If we are proud or blind and naked, like the church of Laodicea, then we will be shocked when our world falls apart and we find ourselves in tribulation.

We need to know that there is a reason that there is a tribulation, sometimes we need to learn our lessons the hard way if we do not learn them the easy way. The prophesied destruction of Gaza is upon us. It is time to seek the Lord. Take Zephaniah 2 seriously and heed it’s advice to seek the Lord! I would encourage my readers to hope in the Lord and seek Him while He may be found, Isaiah 55:6. There will be a time when the Lord is not near, when we suffer for not taking heed! I myself have much brokenness to work through in my own life and soul. I don’t have it all together, but I hope in the Lord’s mercy. I know the time I am in, and I am looking above to the heavens and to the Lord, and to His throne of grace, Hebrews 4:16, and His salvation and redemption in Yeshua. Whether the rapture is sooner or later, I know that the Lord is a ‘rewarder of them that diligently seek Him’, Hebrews 11:6. Notice the word ‘diligently’, it takes effort, it takes time, it takes repetition! Time is a commodity that we don’t have a lot of these days!

I know He is about to bring glory amidst the pain and darkness, Isaiah 60:1-2. I know He shall raise up the 144,000 firstfruits as the Antichrist rises to power. I know that there are firstfruit raptures, I Corinthians 15:23, not just Messiah but the 144,000. I know that there are gifts of the Ruach HoKodesh (Holy Spirit), coming to the remnant in these last days, both to Jacob and the gentiles that know Yeshua. I know that Yeshua is coming not too long after the persecution comes. I know that the Lord is good. And I will persevere and battle through to be faithful as I can be and seek His face and His mercy.

The Lord will give us greater giftings in the Holy Spirit as the time of darkness draws near. These giftings will be far more like something from a sci fi show than what we are used to. We are already beginning to live in an AI driven sci-fi dystopia, so the off the charts supernatural giftings of the Holy Spirit will empower us in this dawning time of existential crisis and they will be, along with our faith, utterly indispensable. According to Ephesians 6 we are to stand in the ‘evil day’ and not fear. The angel of death will soon be stalking humanity. After the time to stand in the evil day will be a time to fight and bring the Kingdom down to the earth. Psalm 68 also tells us that the Lord will have myriads of His ‘changed ones’, His 144,000 firstfruits to bring the battle to the enemy and put them to flight as He takes this world by force. Yeshua is coming. This is the finale.

Let’s trust Him, even if our nations fall apart, because they are falling no matter who is in charge. Let us get our eyes off this world and set them on the things above where Messiah is seated, Colossians 3:1. Let’s aim for the Heavenly Psalm 108 experience of the 2nd Exodus and 2nd coming rather than the shock of the gloomy earthly Psalm 60 experience. Let us seek the Lord in humility and hope in Him.

One more thing, the last prophetic feast that was fulfilled at the Lord’s first coming, Shavuot (Pentecost), was actually fulfilled 10 days after He left! Shavuot (Pentecost) is the middle feast of 7 feasts and is the feast of the main harvest of wheat. It is not His first coming like the first 3 feasts, Passover, Unleavened Bread and Firstfruits (or the 7th day of Unleavened bread, depending on what we mean by feast). It is not the 2nd coming like the last 3 feasts, Trumpets, Atonement and Tabernacles. It is not directly fulfilled by the Lord at all but by us! Shavuot (Pentecost) is our feast! It is fulfilled by the church in the power of the Holy Spirit. Shavuot (Pentecost) was completed in part with the 12 Apostles at the beginning of the church. But it is only completed in part. The final outpouring of the Holy Spirit will be fulfilled with the end time church and will complete the prophetic fulfilment of this feast in total. The church age will end with a mighty downpour of the Holy Spirit in a time of war when the Sun turns to darkness and the moon to blood and there are ‘Palmtrees of smoke’, Joel 2:30-31. So the Church age will end with a bang. It started with 12 Apostles and the Tongues of fire and it will end with the 12 x 12,000 End time Apostles, the 144,000 and the world at war and nuclear fire and giftings that will be off the charts. Does this begin now or do we have another year or so to wait? We are told in Matthew 24 etc that there will be wars and rumours of wars. Earthquakes in diverse places, pestilences and famines. I think it will ramp up from now on. We will know that a shift has occurred because increasing Holy Spirit gifts will be poured out at that time. We will need them, and we will get them. The groom loves His Bride and will send her gifts to keep her going until His arrival. The Lord promised us that He would build His Church and the gates of Hell will not prevail over her, Matthew 16:18. We will overcome, but it doesn’t mean it is ‘a walk in the park’. These end times are not going to be easy. It is judgement. Zion is chosen in judgement and burning. Yeshua looks at the churches with eyes of fire. Our God is a jealous God. But He is a lover too. So there will be spiritual resources for His faithful Holy called out people. The giftings will be far more supernatural than in Acts chapter 2. And there will be an increase in spiritual power amongst the wicked also. So we will need all that the Lord gives us. Mankind is waking up. And there are two seedlines within one human race, the Seed of the Woman, and the Seed of the Serpent, the righteous and the wicked.

Psalm 60 & 108 Side by side

Psalm 60:1-12 – EarthlyPsalm 108:1-13 – Heavenly

1  To the chief Musician upon Shushaneduth, Michtam of David, to teach; when he strove with Aramnaharaim and with Aramzobah, when Joab returned, and smote of Edom in the valley of salt twelve thousand.

1  A Song or Psalm of David.
O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.
2  Thou hast made the earth to tremble;
thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.
3  Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.
4  Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.
O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
2  Awake, psaltery and harp:
I myself will awake early.
3  I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
4  For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.
5  Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;

5  That thy beloved may be delivered;
save with thy right hand, and hear me.
6  God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
7  Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine;
Ephraim also is the strength of mine head;
Judah is my lawgiver;
8  Moab is my washpot;
over Edom will I cast out my shoe:
Philistia, triumph thou because of me.
9  Who will bring me into the strong city?
who will lead me into Edom?
10  Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off?
and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?
11  Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
12  Through God we shall do valiantly:
for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
6  That thy beloved may be delivered:
save with thy right hand, and answer me.
7  God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
8  Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine;
Ephraim also is the strength of mine head;
Judah is my lawgiver;
9  Moab is my washpot;
over Edom will I cast out my shoe;
over Philistia will I triumph.
10  Who will bring me into the strong city?
who will lead me into Edom?
11  Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off?
and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?
12  Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
13  Through God we shall do valiantly:
for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
