Biblical Hebrew Clock, 6 hours difference.

Our modern clocks are 6 hours out of sink with the biblical clock as is clear from the records in the gospels.ย

3rd hour (9am)
Mark 15:25, Matthew 20:3,

6th hour (12 o’clock noon)
Matthew 20:5, Luke 23:44

9th hour (3pm)
Matthew 27:46

This 6 hour difference between our modern pagan clock and the biblical Hebrew clock is easily corrected. Just move the numbers by 6 hours!

That’s significant because this is exactly 180 degrees. That is like repentance, a 180 degree turn around. Maybe we need to repent regarding our clocks. We will still have to work in the pagan world, but when we get home we could at least have a clock with a modified clock face on the wall as the one in the picture above.

Most Messianics are familiar with the Hebrew calendar. But many do not understand HOLY TIME in the sense of the daily clock. I would encourage folks to have two clocks in their house, one for regular Roman Time (Since we are still under the yoke of Rome – even in America and Australia!) The other clock should have the numbers moved as per the picture here.

Surely it is TIME that we ditched our Roman clocks. Or at the very least have two clocks on the wall. One for our regular Roman (Esau) Time and the other for our biblical (Jacob) Time.

If you want to know what time it was when it said it was the such and such hour then just use the clock pictured here. For example, the third hour, is actually 9 o’clock.

If you’ve ever read the gospels you will come across the fact that there are 12 hours in the day, John 11:9 (and thus 12 hours at night). So the 24 Hour day is actually biblical! The number 12 represents government. For example, 12 tribes, 12 disciples. God’s government includes his yearly feasts that occur on the Hebrew Calendar that has 12 months. It is time to put another clock on the wall in anticipation of HOLY TIME not our present ESAU (ROMAN) TIME. The number 24 represents priesthood and betrothal. There were 24 courses of Levitical priests that served at the temple in Jerusalem on a two week roster basis. Perhaps it is time that the priestly nation, the kingdom of priests change their clocks!

If we are from the lost tribes we cannot necessarily all leave for Israel tomorrow to live. Neither can we fight and totally destroy the ‘New World Order’ because God has to move against Pharaoh Satan and Edom etc to raise up the tribes of Israel and say ‘LET MY PEOPLE GO!’. But we are moving rapidly towards that happy and awesome day.

Until that happy time we can at least put our intent onto the walls of our houses with a Jacob clock! The time is ticking.

Esau vs Jacob

Esau Roman Time
Jacob Israel Time

Time to leave – “Let My People GO!”

Then the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

  1. Thank you so much for this about Holy time! We are struggeling with time also according to the known calendars in use today- both the official in Israel ( Hillel II), the Karaite’s looking for moon and the roman calandar. Have come across the ancient calendar according to the book of Jubilee and Enoch– also found described in Qumran-scrolls —and come to know that the calendar-issue maybe was one important reason for the essenes (who were mainly priests/levites….)to flee out to the desert…We also found some interesting writings about when the day actually starts-and that in the Gallilee the people reckoned the day from sunrise—- Well, I think that if this is right and how Yeshua did it-then Your proposed hebrew clock fits in very well!! What do you think? Blessings in Yeshua the Messiah–from Mette in Norway

  2. I think this is a great idea! Thank you for this post! I was just looking for apps or something that would work for helping me keep up with the hours of the Biblical day — we give out little gifts every New Moon as we celebrate and I think this will make perfect new moon gifts!
As to Mette Birkenes – we have also changed our hours to go with the daylight hours rather than starting a day at evening. The Father is revealing much to His people and and it is exciting to be a part of what He is doing! Bless you guys on your journey!
