I have spent a few days reorganising my video and audio files.
When I first uploaded videos to YouTube I discovered some restrictions. YouTube only allows 15 minute lengths of any video for their free service. So I had to cut my presentations into these 15minute or less segment sizes.
Thankfully YouTube allows users to arrange their videos into playlists so that you can have one 15 minute video segment follow the next in logical order. I had not taken advantage of this until I began reorganising things a few days back.
My Biblical Hebrew Grammar course which has been on YouTube is being put into a more orderly arrangement as a playlist. I have also done the same for my Video Presentations. And on the 10losttribes.com website I have put a new embedded YouTube video player that takes advantage of these playlists so that you can watch one video after the other in logical sequence. Unfortunately the embedded player has a restriction of only 50 videos on a playlist so for the Hebrew Course which has much more video segments you will have to watch the rest of the videos on my YouTube playlist directly (on the YouTube site) instead of on my Hebrew Course page.
I have also arranged my Video Presentation talks onto a YouTube playlist and added a new embedded player onto my Video Presentation page. This should make it easier for folks to watch the videos and go to the next logical video segment without having to search for it.
Audio mp3’s & Mixpod
I have added a few more mixpod players and playlists to my website.
Now the Hebrew Course has a mixpod mp3 player, which can also be accessed on facebook. And I have put the Hebrew Courses mp3 Audio links next to the appropriate Video Lesson instead of at the bottom of the page.
I have also added Audio mp3’s to the Video Presentation talks page in addition to the Video’s already there. And there is now a mixpod player next to the new embedded YouTube video player.
It is hoped that these changes will make things more convenient. Video and Audio are extremely effective ways of distributing information and sharing ideas. And people don’t have time to read endless articles. I have put some written material on the site to introduce some things. But I hope to make much greater use of Video again shortly. I hope to add more presentations to the website by God’s grace. If the good Lord wants it done then it shall be done. Everything takes time and it’s amazing how quickly times arrow arcs across the sky.
Here in Australia we are about as far from Jerusalem as you can get on this earth. Nevertheless God has a plan for his remnant ‘downunder’. The remnant of the Lost Tribes of the House of Israel will begin to wake up more and more and I hope to have material that will assist their journey home to the father and to the promised land. When the Lord hisses
for them they will hear.
