Last weekend I listened to some songs that touched my heart afresh. I also watched as many Australian flags were waved. These songs are concerned with the outpouring of God’s Spirit. And unbeknown to the church are intimately connected to the Regathering of the Lost Tribes of the House of Israel.
One of the songs was titled ‘Great Southland of the Holy Spirit‘ and was perhaps inspired by the declaration of catholic navigator Pedro Fernandes de Queiros. Pedro was in search of “Terra Australis” the land of the South. On finding it he apparently proclaimed it “Terra Australis del Espiritu Santu” – the “Great South Land of the Holy Spirit” and claimed it for the church of Rome and Spain. Being a protestant, I am not too keen on Rome getting it’s filthy blood stained Edomite-Babylonian hands on it. But I do like the idea of the Holy Spirit coming to a dry sun-burnt land, so far from Jerusalem. But in the natural, when I think of Australia I do not think of the Holy Spirit, rather I think of the song by ‘Ice House‘, ‘Great Southern Land‘. I think about the hot sun and the battle for water. Lately though Australia has had buckets of water and the drought of ten years has been broken. We have had the physical waters poured out but we are desperately in need of the Spiritual water.

A Plan for Australia and New Zealand?
But it is a nice thought to suppose that God has a plan for Australia (and even nicer if He has one for New Zealand!). It’s not just the NWO that has plans you know. Perhaps God has a few also. Certainly He used the Anzac troops at Beersheba in 1917 to heroically drive out the Turks and thus aiding the establishment of not only British control, but more importantly, of ultimately opening up the land for greater Jewish immigration. According to Col Stringer many of the Anzac’s were Bible believing Christians. I have paid my respects at their military grave there in 2004 when I last visited Israel. Many of those that died were only 20, 21, 22, 23 years of age. So many folks from the ends of the earth have been used to help establish Israel. And no doubt many of the boys were of Israelite ancestry. From the Lost tribes. Though I cannot prove it, it makes sense to me. Brothers in Arms.
And while the Australian flags were waiving during the song, Great Southland of the Holy Spirit, I thought of the prophecies by Smith Wigglesworth concerning a mighty end times revival that begins in Melbourne. I usually take such things with a pinch of Salt. But it maybe that it actually is from the ends of the earth, the places furthest from Jerusalem that the Lord whistles for his people, the lost tribes of the House of Israel. Even though the bulk of the lost tribes may be in the United States and Canada – the land of the North, it maybe that there is a a spiritual revival as well as war that precipitates this. Firstly we read that God will bring out the children of Israel from the North Country. This has often been misapplied to bringing the Jews out of Russsia, but they are the ‘House of Judah‘, not the ‘House of Israel‘;

Jeremiah 23:8
See also Jeremiah 31:8 for similar deliverance. This is the very chapter where the New Covenant is defined, a covenant for both the House of Israel and the House of Judah. We have not entered into the fullness of the New Testament yet, we still struggle with sin. But there will be a time when this New Covenant comes in it’s fullness. And it will require a massive outpouring of His Spirit to do so. Perhaps this begins at the ends of the earth, where he begins to turn us back to Zion. Certainly the context of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all flesh in Joel chapter 2 is also in the context of world war. The moon turns to blood and there are palm trees of smoke

Joel 2:28-31 (3:1-5)
Are these palm trees of smoke (‘Tamarot Ashan’) mushroom clouds after a nuclear war? I believe they are. Time will tell. In any case God will gather the House of Israel, the lost tribes, with fury poured out (Ezekiel 20:33). And he will purge out the rebels (v38). He will teach us the Torah in the Wilderness of the People (v35). And this will happen before the actual tribulation because he says gather together nation unbeloved, before the fierce day of the Lord comes upon you (Zephaniah 2). This is not just the Jews, it is the lost tribes also! He’s just bringing back the House Judah first with wrath poured out (World Wars 1 and 2). Now it’s the House of Israel ‘s turn to drink from the same cup.
So big things are in store for the lost tribes. And the lost tribes must be located at the ends of the earth. Why? Because it says so.

So let us cry to the God of Israel from Australia and New Zealand, from the ends of the earth. Let us look to God our Rock and God with us, Immanuel, the mighty God, the everlasting Father. Yeshua said, I and my father are one.

From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
People in church often want revival but at no cost to themselves. But the end times revival will come with the sword. Has anybody ever paid attention to the words of the song, ‘these are the days of Elijah‘? Because this song is surely prophetic. Whatever the writer had in mind, God knows. But have you read the lyrics? Because in it we see that the Elijah revival is during darkness, famine and sword, it is during days of great trial. This is inline with how God will regather the lost tribes, with fury poured out. This will occur according to Joel when the moon turns to blood (Red moons in 2014/2015?), with Palm Trees of smoke (Joel 2:30) – mushroom clouds? Do you still want revival?

Final note, it’s not all gloom and doom, but you might want to batten down the hatches before the rain comes. God will do great things, but be sure you love the giver more than the gift. Because although his gifts are free, they may cost you all that you have. And they may be worth that and more!

i find it interesting that the unicorn when you translate to hebrew is the rhino – south africa is a land that is trying to preserve the species – we have many of them – dont forget about the many of Israel that are here!
